Celebrity Big Brother US Spoilers: Brandi Glanville Admits She Was A Last Minute CBBUS Cast Replacement

Celebrity Big Brother US spoilers indicate that Brandi Glanville wasn’t on anyone’s first choice list as a housemate this season. As a matter of fact, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star herself admitted that she was a last-minute replacement for the Celebrity Big Brother US cast.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Brandi said that she was only notified last week that she would be joining the cast of the highly anticipated celebrity version of the series. And even though she hasn’t had much time to prepare for the series, Brandi says that she still plans to bring her A-game in hopes that she will win the $250,000 Celebrity Big Brother US grand prize.

“I got a call a few days ago, so I’m replacing someone… so they said ‘Are you available on Sunday?’ And it was like Wednesday,” Brandi said, adding, “I am a reality all-star. This is what I do. I’m not an actor or an athlete. So I think people might think I have an upper hand in a way. I don’t.”

At this point, it’s doubtful that host Julie Chen or any of the Celebrity Big Brother execs will say who the celebrity was that backed out at the very last minute. Whoever the celebrity was, they certainly didn’t think that the show would be worth their time. That, or they were probably expecting a better role or a bigger paycheck.

Either way, a lot of CBBUS fans are excited to see Brandi Glanville in the Big Brother house. Plus, it will also be interesting to see if Brandi will form some sort of alliance with fellow housemate Omarosa Manigault. The two women will either become best friends or instant enemies. Luckily, CBBUS fans will be able to tune in to CBBUS live feeds 24 hours a day.

The rest of the CBBUS cast includes Mark McGrath, actresses Shannon Elizabeth and Marissa Jaret Winkour, actor James Maslow, and Keshia Knight Pulliam of The Cosby Show fame. As far as athletes go, both NBA star Metta World Peace and UFC lightweight champ Chuck Liddell will be on the show. Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez and comedian and television personality Ross Matthews round out the cast.

Celebrity Big Brother US is set to kick off Wednesday, February 7 at 8pm EST on the CBS network. In the meantime, don’t forget to check back with CDL for all the latest news, updates and spoilers on Celebrity Big Brother US and all of your favorite primetime television shows right here.
