General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, February 22, tease that Maxie (Kirsten Storms) will continue to struggle with grief. She clearly isn’t coping well, so it’s not a great idea to go back to work right now. Nevertheless, Maxie will feel like this is something she has to do. The thought of spending more time in her empty apartment is probably just too much to bear.
However, Maxie’s first day back at Crimson will bring drama. She’ll surprise Nina (Michelle Stafford) when she has a frustrated meltdown. Maxie will start shouting as she hurls her phone across the room. Let’s hope Nina can provide some support. No one feels exactly like Maxie does, but at least Nina can relate to the deep pain of losing Nathan (Ryan Paevey).
Other General Hospital spoilers say Carly (Laura Wright) will give Brad (Parry Shen) some advice. She’ll suggest that if she were him, she’d have some serious reservations. Brad and Lucas (Ryan Carnes) are planning on adopting a baby, but Carly was delighted when she heard the news. Perhaps Carly’s concern will be about the details of the adoption or even another matter entirely.
Brad will also have a chat with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) on Thursday, so maybe she can offer legal guidance. Meanwhile, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) will reassure Ava (Maura West). She’ll promise that her plan’s paying off. Nelle will insist that when she’s through, Michael (Chad Duell) will be firmly by her side. She’ll feel confident that Ava will benefit in the end, too.
At GH, Mike (Max Gail) will get updates on his diagnosis. Griffin (Matt Cohen) knows Mike has some cognitive impairments, but he’s hoping the CT scan will reveal more. Once Griffin looks over the results, he’ll have to drop the bomb. There’s a good chance Mike has Alzheimer’s.
Of course, this will be a tough blow for Sonny (Maurice Benard) as well. General Hospital spoilers say Mike will want to keep his condition a secret. He’ll shake his finger and snap that Sonny can’t breathe a word of this to anyone. However, Sonny will likely fill Carly in sooner or later. He knows better than to keep anything from her. Carly always manages to get the scoop anyway!
Elsewhere, Jason (Steve Burton) will ask Peter (Wes Ramsey) for some assistance. He’ll bring Peter up to speed on the will and indicate that Faison (Anders Hove) pulled one last trick. As Sam (Kelly Monaco) stands nearby, Peter will wonder what Faison dangled in front of Jason. He’ll be stunned when Jason replies, “His son.”
Since Peter is actually Heinrik, he’ll be in quite a predicament. Peter can’t claim anything unless he comes forward and exposes his identity. That’s the least of Peter’s problems though. He’ll mainly worry about what Jason would do if he knew the truth!
