The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that the action will heat up over the next couple months. Bill’s (Don Diamont) on a mission to win back Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), which Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) obviously isn’t happy about. This love triangle will undoubtedly remain a big part of the drama on B&B.
Of course, Quinn (Rena Sofer) also has a war going on with Donna (Jennifer Gareis) and Pam (Alley Mills). The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say the battle over Eric (John McCook) will bring some twists and turns. We’ve also got Hope (Annika Noelle), who’s inching toward the birth of Liam’s (Scott Clifton) baby. Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) sort of involved there thanks to her bond with Liam.
Many B&B viewers like these characters, but there are others who being ignored for the most part. The Bold and the Beautiful has some great options on canvas, so they might as well take advantage of them. There are other stories to be told and relationships to develop. Here are four characters that deserve more airtime.
1. Wyatt
Ah, Wyatt. The lesser Spencer brother – at least in the eyes of B&B. The Bold and the Beautiful likes to put the spotlight on Liam. Even Will (Finnegan George) has gotten more attention lately. However, Wyatt has a lot to offer the CBS soap. He’s a good guy who doesn’t waffle nearly as much as Liam. Wyatt could step up and carry some hot plots if the show would just let him.
2. Sally
That brings us to Sally (Courtney Hope), the lovely lady in Wyatt’s life. It’s strange that B&B wrote Sally out only to have her come back and not do much of anything. What was the point? Sally needs to be something besides Steffy’s sidekick. The Bold and the Beautiful could make Sally and Wyatt a real power couple with the right storyline. At any rate, it’d be nice to see much more of Sally.
3. Maya
To be fair, Karla Mosley (Maya) has been on maternity leave and that’s an obvious reason for her absence on screen. However, Maya was rarely around before her portrayer’s exit. Now that Mosley is filming again, we have to wonder if Maya will be used to her full potential. Will B&B just have her sit in on Forrester meetings or is a real storyline headed Maya’s way? Let’s hope it’s the latter!
4. Carter
The Bold and the Beautiful fans seem to love Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and why shouldn’t they? He’s sweet, handsome, charming and confident. Nevertheless, the show fails to use him for much more than the occasional legal crisis or wedding. Should B&B put Carter in a story with Maya? What about Steffy? Regardless, viewers could definitely use a little extra Carter in their lives.
