The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that one CBS soap star has some fantastic news to share. Tammin Sursok is a Y&R alum who’s known for her work as Colleen Carlton. She was featured on The Young and the Restless from 2007-2009 and went on to star as Jenna Marshall in Pretty Little Liars.
Sursok has some new projects in the works, including adding a bundle of joy to her family. On Twitter, Sursok recently announced that she’s expecting her second child. It sounds like she had some trouble conceiving again, but she’s finally got a bun in the oven and things are right on track. That’s certainly great to hear!
Sursok is currently 21 weeks along, so she felt ready to spread the word and let fans join in the excitement. She posted a sweet picture of herself on the beach with her daughter, Phoenix. Sursok’s sporting quite a baby bump in this cute photo. The Young and the Restless viewers are definitely thrilled for her. Sursok’s caption revealed just how much joy she’s feeling.
“After a bumpy, emotional and magical journey we are finally here,” Sursok said. “We couldn’t feel more grateful. Baby due in January.” It won’t be long until Sursok’s getting back to diaper duty and midnight feedings. She seems anxious to enjoy every minute of the next round of motherhood.
Earlier this year, Sursok spoke to Friday Magazine about what being a mom means to her. It’s clear that she’s loving and dedicated. Sursok admitted that she felt torn between her job and her family at times. She said, “I felt so guilty because I love my work and I get a lot of self-satisfaction from working and then I had my daughter and I just stopped working because I felt like that was the right thing to do.”
However, Sursok suggested that it’s important to find a balance. Her daughter’s also brought lessons that she never expected. “She’s taught me so much,” Sursok said. “It’s the most heart-wrenching love that I’ve ever experienced and it hurts and it’s terrifying and it’s amazing!”
