Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will make a shocking discovery. He’ll take one look at Diana Cooper (Judith Chapman) and realize Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) isn’t the only one with a problem on his hands. John will worry that his past could bring some startling consequences.
It turns out Diana is John’s former flame. There’s a good chance she used to be Diana Colville (previously played by Genie Francis), who was involved with John when he believed he was Roman Brady (now played by Josh Taylor). Regardless, John had a relationship with the woman who now calls herself Diana Cooper. He’ll develop some concerns and confide them to a close friend next week.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say John’s fears will be centered on Leo. He’ll tell Roman there’s a possibility that Leo is his son. You never know in Salem, but there are a few reasons why we suspect John won’t really be Leo’s father. It might look that way at first, but John’s got some things working in his favor.
For starters, DOOL already did a long-lost son storyline with Paul Narita (Christopher Sean). It would be repetitive to do another one. How many kids does John really need? Besides, Days of Our Lives buzz hints that Greg Rikaart is exiting as Leo. That’s not surprising since Leo has always felt like a temporary villain.
Leo was written out when the story didn’t need him and written back in when it did. It makes sense that Leo will be written out once more once the scheme’s over. When it’s time for Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) to reunite, there’ll be no real purpose for Leo.
Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that this will simply be a scare. It’ll probably just be something to shake up John’s world and create some “Jarlena” issues. Marlena certainly wouldn’t blame John for having another long-lost kid, but she seems poised for a battle with Diana. That alone could bring serious drama.
Plus, Leo is Will’s enemy! John’s the kind of guy who would want to do right by his boy, but that could be a problem for Marlena. She adores her grandson and might object to John making an effort with Leo. Marlena wants Leo as far away from Will and Sonny as possible. She wouldn’t want John giving Leo a reason to stick around.
