General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the first sign of trouble may hit for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). With the exception of a misunderstanding or two when they first started dating, things have gone smoothly. The world may have been crumbling around them thanks to Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin), but their relationship’s been solid.
Unfortunately, we all know there’s bound to be a bump in the road soon. Chase and Willow recently declared love for each other. They’re on cloud nine, which is a dangerous place to be on a soap. The higher characters are, the harder they can fall. General Hospital spoilers say the week of August 12-16 will bring a shocker for Willow. She’ll see a side of Chase she’s never seen before.
Of course, it’s possible there’s an innocent explanation for that. If Chase reveals some funny hidden talent or gets vulnerable through a memory, that could explain this away and hold off the drama.
Will Some Doubts Be Rattling Around In Willow Tait’s Head?
However, the timing seems right for some conflict or at least some doubts on Willow’s end. This sounds more like something negative, so we have to consider how Willow might see Chase in a poor light.
Willow has seen Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) attack Shiloh on more than one occasion and has no problem with it. Getting violent with Shiloh doesn’t bother her at all. It’d have to be something truly troubling for it to give Willow pause.
If Chase gets into an argument with someone less villainous – a kinder female character perhaps – that might stir up some issues for Willow. Then again, Chase might just worry about Willow and become too overbearing. His protective side could cross a line and leave him on the verge of controlling. Chase might say something in the heat of the moment that he regrets later.
First Blow In A Love Triangle That Will Include Michael Corinthos
Willow had difficulties learning to trust Chase after what happened with Shiloh and her time in the cult. It’s understandable that she was wary after everything she’d been through. Whatever Chase does may not be all that bad, but it could trigger painful memories for Willow nonetheless.
If GH intends to push Willow and Michael together following the baby swap reveal, they need to get started on “Chillow’s” friction. This couple can’t stay blissful if General Hospital wants to do a real love triangle. Could this be the first blow? Will Chase show a side of himself that Willow disapproves of and spark a setback?
