The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Wednesday, December 18. tease that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) will try to process what she’s just witnessed. As B&B viewers know, she’s just watched as Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) set up a romantic scenario in the Forrester design office for Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes). Hope was totally taken aback by the situation, as she at first assumed that the romantic setup was intended for her.
Well, it appears that on Wednesday’s episode, Hope will get a real show as Thomas tries to drive home the whole “romancing Zoe” scenario. According to B&B spoilers, Thomas will tell Zoe that he wants to move forward in a relationship with her, and the two will share a passionate kiss afterwards. Whether Hope is present to witness that kiss remains to be seen, but since Thomas is determined to show Hope that he’s move on from her, she just might see the kiss take place.
Of course, all of this puts Zoe in a weird place. Zoe genuinely likes Thomas and would like to embark on a real relationship with him. But as B&B viewers know, Thomas’ desire for Zoe isn’t genuine. Rather, she’s just a pawn that he’s using to make Hope want what she can’t have. But Zoe will likely perceive the whole situation to be real, and that could put Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) big plan into jeopardy.
As B&B viewers know, Liam has this con that he wants to run. He wants Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to rehire Zoe at Forrester Creations and for Zoe to get Thomas to open up about his grand plan to get Hope for himself. Zoe reluctantly is on board, but she’s made it clear that she really cares for Thomas and is hoping that her efforts to find dirt on Thomas fail.
Of course, Liam’s plan for Zoe to be a confidante to Thomas about his true feelings and obsession for Hope now has a big flaw, and that’s that Zoe has just become romantically involved with Thomas. Thomas will surely want Zoe to think that the relationship is real, so that Hope will be convinced as well, so he’s surely not going to confide in Zoe about his deep feelings for Hope at this point. It’s a real mess.
But still, Liam will push forward with his plan and pressure Steffy to rehire Zoe. As B&B viewers know, Steffy hasn’t been thrilled with the idea of bringing Zoe back to Forrester Creations, but on Wednesday’s B&B episode, she’ll do so. It looks like Liam will be successful in persuading Steffy to get on board with his plan, and that Zoe will again make a big pitch to Steffy about how sorry she is for what she did.
This will be a big move for Steffy, and she’ll inevitably face some fallout from the decision. After all, Zoe was previously fired from Forrester Creations for a reason – she deliberately kept information about Beth Spencer’s (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) existence, kidnapping, and illegal adoption from the authorities and from Liam, Hope, and Steffy. Suffice it to say that Hope and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) are not going to be happy to learn that Zoe has been welcomed back into the fold.
At any rate, it seems that by the end of Wednesday’s B&B episode, Hope will be in complete disbelief about Thomas and Zoe’s burgeoning romance, Zoe will be coupled up with Thomas but secretly working for Liam, and Steffy will on the verge of facing total backlash for rehiring Zoe. It’s quite a situation, and one wonders who will emerge victorious here.
