The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, October 28, tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will have another chat with Tammy Diamond (Gillian White). She’s the one who urged Nick to run for the councilman spot that’s now vacant, but he’s dragging his feet. Nick’s got a lot on his plate right now, so he’s just not sure he wants to throw politics in the mix.
However, Tammy may remind Nick of all the good he could do. She knows Nick cares about the community and could make a real difference in the lives of Genoa City residents. Of course, people like Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) all support the idea. As Nick faces more pressure, he’ll eventually surrender and decide to give this whole councilman thing a shot.
Meanwhile, a special guest will get a warm welcome. Y&R spoilers say Doris Tillington (Mary-Margaret Lewis) will arrive at the Abbott mansion for a chat. She knew Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) back when they were in high school, so Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will be eager to speak with her. They’ll hope Doris can offer more info on Stuart Brooks and what happened after Dina’s prom.
Doris will be a bit hesitant to divulge anything at first. She was apparently sworn to secrecy by Dina many years ago, but the situation’s a little different now. Dina isn’t lucid most of the time and can’t answer her kids’ questions. Doris is their best shot at getting the real story, so Jack and Traci will hope she comes through for them.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Doris will ultimately come clean. Dina couldn’t resist going to bed with Stuart Brooks on prom night, which resulted in a pregnancy. Shortly after Dina found out, she bolted for Europe and later gave the baby up for adoption.
Once Traci and Jack thank Doris, she’ll leave them to look through Dina’s archives for evidence. A decree of adoption will surface with Dina’s name listed as the mother. The space for the father will be left blank, but the puzzle pieces will come together enough to assume it was Stuart.
Jack and Traci will confirm that Dina gave birth to a boy, so they’ll marvel over having a half-brother they never knew about.
