The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 26, teases that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will spot Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) at the Grand Phoenix. She’ll make her way over and introduce herself to Victoria, who won’t mention how much Amanda resembles Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan).
Amanda will acknowledge that Victoria didn’t bring up the lookalike situation, but Billy will admit he did. Victoria will realize they’ve met before, so Billy will confess they’ve bumped into each other around town. Meanwhile, Summer Newman (Hunter King) won’t be happy about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) extending a holiday party invitation to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). She’ll decide to give Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) a call and bring her in the loop.
Once Phyllis finds out Adam’s going to be there, she’ll know what she needs to do. Afterward, Phyllis will have a drink with Amanda at the bar. When Amanda mentions not having to buy her own drinks lately, she’ll leave Phyllis curious about the new man in her life.
Back with Victoria, she’ll feel like she’s in a good place with Billy. Victoria will gush about how they know each other better than they ever have. Y&R fans will hear Billy’s thoughts as he suggests there’s more going on under the surface.
At Adam’s penthouse, he’ll encourage Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) to come along on a trip with him. Adam will want to take Chelsea and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) to Hope Wilson’s (Beth Toussaint) farm, but Chelsea will think Adam just wants to avoid Nick.
Of course, Adam will think Chelsea’s the one who’s avoiding something. He’ll argue that Chelsea’s just scared of what she’ll feel at the farm. Adam will think it’ll reignite old feelings to be where they exchanged vows. He’ll declare his love for Chelsea and want to know if she feels the same way.
Adam will think he still has a strong connection with Chelsea, but she’ll be adamant that she loves Nick. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will disagree and argue that Nick’s just the safe choice. Chelsea will once again claim she loves Nick and won’t think it’s a good idea for all of them to be at Nick’s holiday gathering. Adam will wonder where Chelsea intends to be when Connor awakens on Christmas morning.
Back at Nick’s place, he’ll get a visit from Phyllis. She’ll reveal that she won’t be attending Nick’s Christmas gathering after all. After Phyllis admits Adam is the reason, Nick will wonder what his brother did. He’ll eventually get Phyllis to blurt out that Adam pushed her to seduce Nick. Y&R spoilers say Nick will decide to use this as ammunition against Adam, who Nick promises won’t win this time.
At home, Billy will get a text and claim he has to stay in town for a contract negotiation. He’ll urge Victoria to go ahead and take the kids to Telluride without him. Billy will vow to catch up with them in the morning, but his internal voice will fear he can’t be the man Victoria needs him to be.
At Jabot, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will make a confession to Summer Newman (Hunter King). He’ll admit he’s at work to make himself feel less guilty about skipping the Abbott holiday get-together. Theo just won’t think it feels right since he’s not really family.
Talk will turn to a contest and some marketing material, which Summer will be eager to release. She’ll insist she can deal with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), so Theo will get the feeling that she’s running interference. Summer will bring up Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) and suspect Lola’s the real reason Theo’s avoiding the Abbott clan. She won’t think Theo can handle seeing Lola and Kyle together.
Theo, on the other hand, will think Summer’s trying to stir the pot. He’ll suggest nothing’s going on with Lola, but he’ll assume Summer wishes there were so she could get Kyle back. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will let it go for the time being. However, she’ll make it clear that the truth’s bound to come out eventually.
