The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, June 27, tease that Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) plan won’t pan out. He was hoping Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) could stall while he worked on another strategy, but Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will grow impatient. He’ll demand to know what dirt Kevin’s uncovered immediately.
Kevin will admit he found very damaging information about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). He’ll insist this info could cause quite the controversy, which would be helpful in the custody battle. However, Kevin will refuse to cough up this info just yet. He’ll expect Adam to fulfill his end of the bargain first and let him see Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson).
Adam will undoubtedly grumble about the inconvenience, but he’ll surely understand Kevin’s lack of trust. Y&R spoilers say Adam will finally relent and take Kevin to Chloe. Fortunately, Adam’s a far better captor than Kevin was. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was stuck in a dark, damp basement with a bare mattress. It’s no wonder Phyllis was riled when she escaped through that window!
Chloe, on the other hand, has been held somewhere clean and comfortable. Kevin should be pleased by that news when he comes face to face with Chloe again. The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that a powerful reunion is coming up.
Chloe will instantly embrace Kevin and accept that everything’s going to be OK. Kevin is the one person who always comes through for Chloe, so she’ll be relieved by this comforting hug. At the same time, Chloe will fret about what Kevin’s been up to. She’ll figure he probably had to do some terrible things to even score this meeting.
Once Kevin and Chloe have their little moment, Chloe will ask to speak with her kidnapper alone. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chloe will want to talk to Adam privately and hopefully reach an understanding. Kevin will reluctantly step out, which will leave Chloe to make nice.
Of course, Adam will want Chloe to cut the crap. He’ll think they both know Chloe would kill him on the spot if she could. However, something will shift during this conversation. They’ll both end up sharing their deepest, darkest thoughts regarding Delia Abbott’s (Sophia Pollono) death. Chloe will confide the pain of losing her little girl, and Adam will open up about the pain of accidentally killing her.
Although Chloe won’t exactly forgive Adam, she’ll understand him a bit better. They’ll connect on some level, which may help Chloe moving forward. If she can exist somewhere without Adam living in fear of a gunshot wound, that would be ideal!
