Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) seems to be pretty taken in by Tripp Dalton’s (Lucas Adams) account of what happened on the night of her rape in London.
As viewers know, Tripp recently went through his version of what happened on the night that he took Allie home from the club in London. Allie listened carefully, and afterwards she told Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) that Tripp seemed so sure of his story.
It seemed that perhaps Allie was softening a bit toward Tripp, even though she believes that the DNA test tells the story about what must have happened that evening.
It seems like it’s bothering Allie enough that she might want to take action to try to remember more about what happened that night. Of course, it’s tough because Allie had consumed a lot of alcohol that evening, so her memory is naturally compromised.
Still, Allie may be willing to try anything to remember more details to get to the bottom of things. That, or Allie might want to bolster her case should she decide to pursue charges against Tripp in London.
Right now, Allie remembers Tripp being with her, and she remembers someone holding her down and she remembers saying no. But if Allie could remember more details, then that could conceivably help her case.
Well, since Allie is Marlena’s granddaughter, it seems like it’s only a matter of time before Allie asks Marlena for help in unearthing her memories.
Days of Our Lives viewers will remember that Marlena has hypnotized Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) on more than one occasion and has helped him remember critical details about various things. There doesn’t seem to be any reason why Marlena couldn’t do the same for Allie.
Of course, reliving the experience would surely be traumatic for Allie, so that might stop her from asking. But then again, it could give Allie some closure and be sure about what did and didn’t happen, so she might be willing to relive the horrible experience again.
Of course, if Allie does undergo hypnosis, she might actually remember some things that would help Tripp’s case, assuming that Tripp is telling the truth and he didn’t assault Allie.
One thing that would be interesting to explore is Tripp’s assertion that he wrote Allie a note before he left her apartment, after he got her safely into bed.
Allie claims that she never found a note from Tripp, but she might have some memories of him writing the note, or even memories of someone else being in her apartment and doing something with the note.
At any rate, it seems like it might be worth a try for Allie to revisit what happened that night with the benefit of hypnosis. And it might just clear up a few things.
