Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that there’s some contract status news to pass along – and it’s certainly something “Shelle” fans will be excited about. In addition to Stacy Haiduk (Kristen DiMera) being bumped up to contract, Martha Madison (Belle Black) and Brandon Beemer (Shawn Brady) have been bumped up as well. Both Beemer and Madison are now listed under the contract section of DOOL’s credits.
Of course, that’s nice to hear since it offers a little more stability for Shawn and Belle. Not too long ago, Shawn rejected the police commissioner position because he was uncertain of when he might go back to Hong Kong with Belle.
It felt like Belle and Shawn were being kept in limbo, so many Days viewers complained and hoped they’d move up from recurring status soon.
Thankfully, Belle and Shawn indeed became contract players again, which means there’s lots more “Shelle” drama to come. Days of Our Lives apparently wanted to lock Shawn and Belle in for a more substantial storyline. There’s a good chance this will tie in with Claire Brady’s (Isabel Durant) latest romantic predicament.
DOOL fans know Claire’s dating a guy she believes is sweet, funny and a joy to be around. Claire was left a bit puzzled after Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) bailed on the Christmas Eve gathering, but she was mostly just concerned.
At this point in the story, Claire still thinks Charlie is a perfect gentleman – not the rapist that he actually is.
Charlie is responsible for the assault Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) endured in London – and he’s holding his own mother hostage! Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) tried to make her escape from Charlie’s apartment, but Charlie returned just in time to stop her.
We can’t forget that Charlie knocked Ava out to even put her in this captive situation. Charlie is a deranged criminal who must be stopped!
You can bet Belle and Shawn will unleash their fury on Charlie down the road. Sooner or later, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Charlie’s horrible actions will be exposed.
There’ll probably be extreme danger for Claire as this hot plot blows up into its climax. We might even see Shawn and Belle pitch in on Claire’s rescue at some point.
Naturally, Claire will need her parents’ love and support in the aftermath of Charlie’s downfall. It’ll hit Claire hard since she trusted Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) and got burned. Claire also trusted Charlie and will soon get burned with him, too.
Some tough times are in Claire’s future, so it’s good to know Shawn and Belle will have a more established presence in Salem with a decent amount of airtime on contract.
Days spoilers say Claire will get plenty of reassurance from those closest to her, including her devoted parents.
We’ll pass along updates as other DOOL details emerge on Belle and Shawn. Some twists and turns are ahead for the “Shelle” family, so keep watching.
