Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will offer to do some snooping for Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Although Chad and Kate have a complicated relationship at times, he really is like a son to her.
Kate doesn’t treat her actual children any better most of the time, but she loves them, too. Kate is just…Kate!
As a result, Kate’s attempt to help Chad may become more about what she wants. During the week of September 28-October 2, Kate will suggest she could serve as a spy.
Days spoilers say Kate will be willing to keep tabs on Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) and report back – kind of like what Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) was doing before she got busted.
Chad could certainly use someone unexpected to be his eyes and ears. Although Jake’s more trustworthy than Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), Chad’s not letting his guard down.
Jake is a DiMera, even though he hasn’t known it all that long. All DiMeras tend to become power-hungry schemers eventually, so Chad has to stay alert when it comes to his newest brother.
Kate’s proven she’s a good snooper, so Chad will probably appreciate the assistance. However, there’s a chance this could lead to some crossed lines and big trouble!
Days viewers know Kate’s earned quite a reputation for bed-hopping over the years. At times, some DOOL fans have even considered Kate’s bed the unofficial welcome wagon for Salem.
Kate doesn’t mind men a bit younger than her either since she’s slept with Salemites like Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian), Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) and more.
As for Jake, he’ll probably be longing for a little something in the bedroom soon. Gabi will remain off canvas until later this year – and Jake’s adamant that he’s done with Gwen permanently.
With all that in mind, could this lead to a Jake and Kate hookup? There’s definitely the potential for it. Why else have Kate get involved here? Jake doesn’t have anything better to do right now either, so it’s easy to imagine Days letting passion erupt.
Of course, this isn’t something that would turn into some epic love story. It’d just be a matter of lust along with two people being in the right place at the right time. As Kate cozies up to Jake for her mission, things might take a steamy turn.
Days of Our Lives spoilers point to a lot of changes happening in Jake’s life before Gabi returns. Since Gabi happens to be friends with Kate, this could complicate matters down the road. Can you imagine Gabi coming home to find out Kate and Jake have been hooking up?! That’d be another great obstacle on the path back to Jake and Gabi’s romance.
DOOL fans can expect another chapter for Gabi and Jake eventually, but they won’t pick up right where they left off. Could Kate be one reason why? We’ll provide updates as other Days news emerges.
