Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) may grow tired of Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) constant pot-stirring and manipulation. DOOL fans know that by now, Jake’s learned Gwen can’t be trusted. There are only going to be more red flags as time goes on.
Jake can tell Gwen was behind the big reveal that blew up Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux’s (Cady McClain) anniversary party. Now Gwen’s trying to make Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) believe that Jake and Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) are having an affair.
Once Chad starts spouting accusations and pointing fingers, Jake may argue that the real finger pointing should be done at Gwen. He’ll probably think this has Gwen written all over it and resolve to prove his suspicions.
Then again, it might be Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) who recruits Jake upon returning to Salem. Gabi normally wouldn’t care if Gwen blew up Abigail’s world, but the problem is Gabi was framed for drugging Abigail.
That’s not something Gabi will let Gwen get away with once she inevitably learns who the real culprit is.
If there’s one person who can pry a full confession out of Gwen, it might be Jake. Days has established that Gwen has a weakness for her ex. Gwen might act like she hates Jake – and part of her really does. However, there’s another part of Gwen that’s crazy attracted to Jake no matter what.
This is a woman who set all Jake’s stuff on fire after one of their many breakups and still wanted him back. Gwen faked a breakdown and landed in a mental institution to get away from Jake, but she still wound up stalking him at the garage.
There’s always going to be some level of desire on Gwen’s end, so Jake may be able to use that to his advantage. One seduction plot deserves another, so Gwen’s plan to seduce Chad may earn her a counterattack. It’d be easy for Jake to swoop in and claim he wants Gwen back.
Perhaps Jake could rely on the tried and true soap strategy of secretly recording Gwen. She might confess all sorts of things over pillow talk if Jake’s willing to go that far. All Jake has to do is make Gwen believe she’s the woman he truly wants again.
Since both Gabi and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) have been Gwen’s victims in roundabout ways, this might be one thing they can agree on! Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake could be the key to taking Gwen down, so Gabi and Kate would probably get on board.
