Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) could find a new way out of trouble. DOOL viewers know Philip has gotten himself into quite a jam thanks to his gambling debts.
That’s why Philip worked out a deal with the Vitali family and is trying to launder mob money through Titan Industries.
Since Philip isn’t making much progress on that mission, he’s had Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) breathing down his neck for a while now. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Philip’s going to get a little break from Ava thanks to Charlie Dale (Mike Manning), but it’s not going to last.
Ava is in Charlie’s clutches at the moment, but she’ll inevitably be found sooner or later. Could Philip be the one who ultimately discovers Ava? Let’s consider how this might play out.
For starters, Days included a clue recently about Titan having temperature-controlled warehouses. There’s a good chance Ava will end up in one of those after Charlie’s forced to move her.
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) brought up getting in touch with Philip to rent a warehouse, so that’s another tidbit to mull over. Philip obviously knows about these warehouses and may be alerted to trouble. There could even be a security camera that tips Philip off to Ava being held captive – that is if Charlie indeed puts her in one.
Philip might contemplate just leaving Ava as a hostage, but she might warn there’ll be deadly consequences if he does. After all, Ava is only one member of the Vitali family. There are plenty more who could come collect Philip’s debt in fatal fashion.
Besides, Ava could spill the whole Charlie story, including her son’s string of assaults in every sense of the word. If Philip finds Charlie is a rapist, he certainly won’t let Belle Black’s (Martha Madison) daughter, Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), remain in the dark.
Philip may realize he has to free Ava and take her to the cops so they can get Charlie locked up.
Of course, this would be a great opportunity for Philip to strike another bargain. Perhaps Philip could work out a new deal. If Philip grants Ava her freedom, he may suggest he wants his own in return – meaning freedom from the debt he owes the Vitali family.
