Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that fans are complaining about a glaring mission in the custody battle storyline. Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) is representing herself at the hearing, but it’s become less about Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) baby and more about dragging Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker).
In DOOL episode after episode, Sami’s been delivering blows to Nicole and Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) case with all her accusations against Nicole. To be fair, Nicole’s done some terrible things in the past.
No one’s saying Nicole is perfect. However, Sami has just as many terrible things in her own history. What about all Sami’s crimes?!
We get that Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) probably wants to take the high road, but it’s only fair for Sami to get trashed, too. As the story stands right now, it seems downright laughable to not mention Sami’s stunts. If Nicole is an unfit mother, then Sami certainly is as well.
Is nobody going to bring up the fact that Sami tried to sell Belle Black (Martha Madison) on the black market when she was a baby? What about when Sami shot EJ DiMera (James Scott) in the head? That’s attempted murder last time we checked, so all this Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) business is no worse.
Of course, Sami has also been behind kidnappings, rape, changed paternity tests, destroyed evidence, blackmail, assault…the list goes on and on! There was also that whole cover-up when Nick Fallon (Blake Berris) was dumped in the river and presumed dead. Sami was practically the ringleader in trying to hide all that.
Not to mention Sami got still mentally disturbed Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) out of Bayview so he could reenact Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) murder – all in hopes that Will might get his memories back.
Can you imagine how traumatic that must’ve been for poor Will? Sami was willing to put her own son through that, so it seems that’s the lovely parenting we can expect if Sami raises her grandbaby.
Shouldn’t Justin or Nicole be bringing up Sami’s horrible behavior? Don’t get us wrong! Sami’s a fantastic schemer who always brings the drama. This isn’t about dishing out any Sami hate; it’s about a level playing field. Sami isn’t a saint and Nicole isn’t a monster, so it’d be nice to have some balance here.
We’ll hold out hope that Days of Our Lives writers will turn things around by including some of Sami’s past offenses, but it doesn’t look like that’s the plan right now. Do you think it’s unfair for Days to ignore all Sami’s crimes? Why should Nicole be the only one trashed?
