Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, July 9, teases that Justin Kirakis (Wally Kurth) will remain baffled by the familiar face he just saw in the cemetery. Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) seemingly appeared, so Justin’s wondering how this is even happening. Justin’s clearly overwhelmed and grateful over the sight of his true love, but “Adrienne” isn’t Adrienne at all!
This is Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans), so she should offer updates on why she’s back in Salem. Bonnie will undoubtedly be sorry for Justin’s loss as well as the confusion. Days spoilers say Justin will be crushed after getting his hopes up, so he’ll settle back into his funk soon enough.
As for Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans), she’ll inform Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) that the wedding was a bust – and it was all thanks to Justin’s confession. Steve will be surprised that Justin would blow his future like that, but he’ll think Justin’s a great guy for doing it.
Kayla will also grill Steve about why he bailed on his flight, so he’ll insist he loves her too much to leave her.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kayla’s emotions will explode, so Steve will get slapped across the face. There’ll be a lot of passion under Kayla’s anger – and that means “Stayla” will finally reunite.
Steve may drive Kayla crazy sometimes, but she loves him and there’s no point in fighting it. Likewise, Steve will be glad that they’re finally back together after all the obstacles.
Next, DOOL fans can expect Steve and Kayla to take an impulsive trip together. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kayla and Steve will catch a flight somewhere, so we’ll see them once they arrive at their destination next week.
After that, Steve and Kayla will spend some time alone off screen. It’ll be good for these two to get away for a while and get their romance on solid ground again.
Meanwhile, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) are in for a shock. Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) won’t be in her room, but the mess she left behind will be!
Nicole and Eric will observe Allie’s clutter before tracking her down at the pub. That’s where Allie will be filling John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) in on her impending bundle of joy.
Days spoilers say the news of Allie’s pregnancy will catch Marlena and John off guard. Once Marlena realizes Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) doesn’t know about the baby, she’ll voice her disapproval.
Marlena will probably feel like keeping Sami out of the loop is a disaster waiting to happen. Allie may push John and Marlena to stay quiet, but she’ll be putting them in an incredibly difficult position.
Marlena should have plenty of reservations about keeping such a massive secret, so she’ll surely want Allie to come clean. It looks like there’ll be some bickering, so we’ll see how it all turns out. Regardless, Sami will head back to town for some baby drama the week ahead.
Until then, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will hear about the adoptive father Allie’s chosen. If Rafe wants to raise her baby, Allie’s offered that opportunity. Once Lucas and Kate are brought up to speed, they’ll debate this daddy idea with Rafe.
