Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, June 17, teases that Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) will get treated like a queen for the evening. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will surprise Jennifer with a meal she loves before things get steamy. Although Jennifer and Jack have plenty to worry about, they’ll shove their fears aside and concentrate on revving up the romance.
Over with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), he’ll be disheartened by the news that Gwen (Emily O’Brien) already checked out of Bayview. Ben will pump Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) for more information, but Marlena can give what she doesn’t know.
Gwen will once again be gone without a trace, so Ben will fret about losing track of her.
Back at the hotel room, Ben will bring Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) up to speed. They’ll all be bummed since they were so close to finding Gwen and getting back the item Jake stole.
Jake was given three more hours to return that item to “the family” – and he’ll have even less time by then. It’ll be time to resort to drastic measures, so Jake will work on plan B.
Ciara will be a crucial part of this plot, and Ben will do his part as well. There’s a book at the Kiriakis mansion that resembles the one Gwen has – the stolen book DOOL fans will see on Wednesday.
It looks like the book at the Kiriakis mansion may be substituted for the real thing. Jake has to give these goons something or Gabi’s going to die!
This should set up a run-in with Xander, which will lead to his book wrestling match with Jake, Ben and Ciara. Xander will play games with them, but Jake and the others will make it clear that Gabi’s in grave danger.
By the end of their confrontation, Xander will wonder what the heck’s wrong with these people! Ciara, Ben and Jake will do whatever it takes to get that book away from Xander.
At Marlena and John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) townhouse, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen will show up and stun Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan). Claire will be busy gazing at the save-the-date card when Gwen arrives looking for her gal pal.
Once Claire shushes Gwen and pulls her into her room, they’ll chat about why Gwen left Bayview. Chances are good Gwen was bored and lonely without Claire around. Gwen will also have that crucial book we mentioned, so she’ll get it out and show it to Claire.
Although Gwen may not have all the details, she’ll probably know this book is exactly what Jake’s after. This is about more than just his “stuff.” It’s about this book that could change everything! As for Claire, she’ll be in a tight spot when John and Marlena discover she’s hiding a quirky, complicated guest.
Finally, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will decide to flee. After Gabi finds some way out of her restraints, she’ll try to take off before the goons can catch her.
Unfortunately, someone higher up than Jimmy (Chuma Gault) will appear. This man might be Jake’s boss, although it seems like DOOL might want to save that revelation.
Instead, maybe this new guy will be the second in command or at least Jimmy’s supervisor. No matter who he is, he won’t be pleased about Gabi’s getaway plan. Gabi will be restrained once again, so she’ll fear that her time has truly run out.
The good news is Gabi will survive this horrifying ordeal. The bad news is there’ll be some moments of total terror first! As other Days news comes in, we’ll provide updates.
