General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) needs a love interest. When Brook Lynn came back to the ABC soap recently, it seemed that she might be paired up with Julian Jerome (William deVry), who humorously mistook her for a hooker upon their first meeting at Charlie’s Pub. Brook Lynn and Julian seemed to have some chemistry, but they never really got off the ground as a couple, or even as a potential couple.
Well, at some point, Brook Lynn will need to be paired up with someone, so that’s got us wondering who it might be. We’d still be up for a Brook Lynn pairing with Julian, although given that Julian just got married to Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), it looks like he’ll be out of commission for a while, and besides, he and Brook Lynn haven’t shared much screen time these days anyway.
So, who else could Brook Lynn forge a romantic future with? Well, one obvious person she could be with is Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson), since they’ve been spending a lot of time together on their music. But so far, things haven’t been romantic between them, even though they do have a romantic history together.
Dustin seems pretty committed to Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), and right now it doesn’t seem like Dustin would betray Lulu when he’s forged such a great relationship with her son Rocco Falconeri (O’Neill Monahan).
Of course, there’s always the possibility that Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) could get together. These two have had a rough time, with Chase repeatedly getting pummeled by Brook Lynn and arresting her for disorderly conduct.
Right now, the pair doesn’t at all seem interested in getting together, but we should note that Chase is recently single, and he’ll need a new love interest assuming that Willow Tait (Kateyn MacMullen) stays married to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
Chase and Brook Lynn might seem like an unlikely couple given their animosity for each other, but very often, couples who start out strongly disliking each other end up becoming close over time.
It’s certainly not out of the realm of possibility that Brook Lynn and Chase could warm up to each other in the future. Of course, Brook Lynn will need to settle down a bit and stop getting arrested so often!
There is a final possibility that probably wouldn’t be Brook Lynn’s first choice, but it could be a matter of necessity. As GH fans know, Brook Lynn finally met the person who acquired her shares of ELQ – Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Although Valentin and Brook Lynn’s discussion has yet to happen, it’s probably going to be an explosive one, with Brook Lynn quickly realizing that Valentin is trying to take over ELQ.
Well, what if Valentin wants something more from Brook Lynn, like to actually marry into the Quartermaine family? It would be just like Valentin to suggest such a thing, especially if he thinks it will help him in his quest to gain more shares of ELQ.
Valentin’s identity is about to be known as the person who’s buying up shares, and maybe he’ll want a marriage with Brook Lynn to disarm the Quartermaines and make them think that he’s doing all this for his “love” Brook Lynn’s benefit.
It would be a rather weird strategy, but Valentin might make Brook Lynn some (probably false) promise about getting her shares back if she gives him an “in” in the family. Stranger things have certainly happened on GH, so you never know!
