General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, November 6, reveal that Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) met with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) at The Floating Rib. Peter read an article that Lulu wrote about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) running drugs through GH, but he said that he couldn’t publish it because Lulu had no proof.
Peter suggested that Lulu write a story about the human toll of drugs in Port Charles rather than accusing Cyrus of anything.
Over at the pool table, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) talked with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) as she played pool alone. Jason tactfully quizzed Britt about how she had gotten the Chief of Staff position at GH.
Jason thought that something might have happened that brought Britt back to Port Charles, and just as Britt was about to open up, Lulu approached and took out her frustrations on Britt.
After Britt walked off, Lulu fumed that she should do an exposé on Britt, but Jason cautioned Lulu against it because it could draw Cyrus’ attention and Cyrus might target Lulu. “Do you think he’d come after me?” Lulu asked.
At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) visited to check in on her mom. Sam griped at Alexis, saying that she was recently at the Q mansion and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) found a bottle of vodka in her purse.
Sam then went to the cabinet and pulled out a hidden vodka bottle that Alexis had been drinking from.
Sam attempted to argue that when Alexis drank, she was a risk to her grandchildren, prompting Alexis to fire back that Sam sleeps with a hitman. Sam insisted that Alexis needed to come with her and get help, or else she wouldn’t let Alexis around her grandkids again.
Alexis griped right back at Sam, and Sam realized that Alexis had made her decision. Sam left upset.
At GH, Julian Jerome (William deVry) asked Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) what was up with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). Ava said that Ryan was out of surgery but still unconscious and that they wouldn’t know the extent of his injuries for a while.
Julian asked about Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) letter, and Ava said that the letter seemed to have disappeared.
“Wow, they really got the job done,” Julian mused. Ava demanded to know who Julian was asking about, and she worried that Julian had made a deal with the devil. Julian then told Ava about the guy who jumped him on the pier when he was holding Nelle, and how the guy knows Ava’s intern.
Julian whipped out Trina Robinson’s (Sydney Mikayla) phone and Ava got a look at the screen saver.
Ava immediately recognized the guy as Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) and she realized that Trina’s dad was alive. Ava was horrified as she realized that Taggert could connect Julian to Nelle on the night that Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) was kidnapped.
Ava urged Julian to disappear now, but Julian refused. Ava walked off, upset with Julian.
At Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) house, Taggert arrived via the terrace and after some talk about the house that Taggert is now living in, Taggert mentioned the bartender he encountered on Halloween, who was the same guy that he fought with on the pier.
Taggert eventually revealed that the bartender was at Charlie’s Pub, and he identified a picture of Nelle on Sonny’s phone.
Sonny immediately called Jason, who was still at The Floating Rib, and gave him some order. Jason hung up and left The Floating Rib, leaving Lulu there alone.
Lulu went to a booth and wrote a little bit of copy about an unnamed source claiming that staffing changes at GH occurred because of the rivalry between Cyrus and Sonny. Lulu hit “send.”
Back at GH, Jason approached Julian and said that Sonny wanted to see him. As Jason escorted Julian off, Ava was walking back to talk to Julian and saw Jason with Julian. “Oh God, Sonny knows,” Ava said to herself.
At Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) house, Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) walked in with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) kept Anna on the phone, pretending he was Peter. Anna immediately understood, and she told Finn to keep Alex there.
Alex, Maxie, and Finn went into the living room, and Finn asked “Anna” to put the kettle on for some tea. Alex complied, and Finn tried to get rid of Maxie, telling her that the woman in the other room was Alex.
Alex returned to the room with her gun drawn, and Finn and Alex wrestled over the gun. The gun went off, and Finn was shot in the chest.
Outside the warehouse, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Anna formulated a plan to go into Anna’s house together asap. As soon as they got to the house, they rushed in and found Finn bleeding out on the floor.
Finn managed to tell Anna that Alex took Maxie to the harbor. Paramedics arrived and Anna told Finn she loved him, then she slipped out before Robert could see her go.
On the Haunted Star, Maxie told Alex that she had other children. Alex said that she’d never hurt Maxie or put her baby in jeopardy. “Why are you doing this?” Maxie asked. Alex said that a helicopter would be meeting them soon.
Alex said that she and Peter had more in common than anyone realized, and that Peter had a lot of secrets.
Suddenly, the boat lurched, and Maxie and Alex fell forward. Alex dropped her gun, and suddenly Anna appeared and pointed her gun at Alex. Alex and Anna held each other at gunpoint in a tense scene.
Back at the hospital, Finn was wheeled into the ER and Britt tended to his injuries. Robert arrived and Peter rushed up asking where Maxie was. “Anna’s gone after Maxie and Alex, that’s all I know,” Robert said. “Was Finn shot?” Peter asked.
“Yeah, and someone’s got to tell his brother,” Robert said, stepping aside to go call Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
Peter went into the area where Finn was. Finn was barely conscious, and Peter asked if Maxie was hurt. Finn mumbled something about Anna wanting to be his mother. Peter looked confused.
