General Hospital (GH) spoilers has some fun news to pass on about a popular GH star. Ingo Rademacher, who portrays Jasper “Jax” Jacks on the ABC soap, recently posted some photos on social media showing the remodeling that he and his family have done to their condo in Mammoth Mountain, California.
If you are fortunate enough to follow Ingo on social media, then you know that he frequently posts what he and his family are up to. Ingo, his wife Ehiku Kaono, and their two boys do a lot of adventuring and outdoor activities, which he posts about often on his Instagram feed. It looks like their new remodeling project has been a DIY effort.
Ingo happily posted some before and after pictures of the kitchen and an explanation of the progress on the kitchen to date. He commented: “Our Mammoth condo – it’s coming along quite nicely, but the painting of the kitchen definitely took a good 3 to 4 days longer than anticipated. Since it’s the center piece around the dining and living room area we thought it was worth spending extra time.”
He continued: “Next is painting the living room white and then the fireplace brick. After that kitchen cabinets and changing most of the lighting with black farm style lights to a dimmer and hanging lights above the bar……to some cool inexpensive rain shower heads that finish off those bathrooms. I’ll keep you’ll posted on prices too. The kitchen was only about $300 in materials including the sander I had to buy.”
Well, Ingo’s followers have been loving the pictures and are enjoying seeing the transition take place on the condo. One person commented: “I love the white look, more bright and clean – awesome.” And another follower said: “Looks like you got brand new cabinets. Does make the room look brighter.” Finally, someone commented: “Looks good! Would love to see you on an episode of HGTV!”
Several people had questions for Ingo about what else he’d be doing to the kitchen down the line, and Ingo replied to many of their comments. He was good natured about the comments, even when some people claimed to like the before pictures better! We think that the whole place is coming along nicely, and it’s great to see the labor of love.
