General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a familiar face is set to make an appearance in Port Charles. GH fans know Max Gail brought Mike Corbin’s storyline to a bittersweet end back in October.
That was when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his family members said their final goodbyes at Mike’s heartbreaking funeral.
Of course, goodbyes are never really all that final on General Hospital! Many GH viewers were hopeful that Max Gail would continue to make appearances in spirit form. Fortunately, Gail already has a ghostly visit as Mike in the works.
According to SOD, Gail was spotted on set and will reprise his role as Mike in the near future. Sonny will no doubt need his dad’s support and guidance, so Mike will be happy to help. General Hospital spoilers say Mike’s spirit will appear to his son and offer advice like only he can.
GH fans know Sonny’s going through a lot right now. After losing Mike following his Alzheimer’s battle, Sonny had to turn his attention back to the war with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Now that war has spiraled out of control with an explosion that left Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” (Ashton Arbab) dead.
Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) was another mob war casualty – and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) true love, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), is stuck in an indefinite coma.
On top of all that, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) might be on the verge of leaving Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). You can bet Sonny will be upset about Jason’s heartbreak if that happens.
General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus may have other attacks on the horizon as well. Sonny will be up against so much, which is why it’s a great idea for Mike to pop in for a visit.
Plenty of GH viewers will be thrilled to see Mike back on their screens. Gail brings a wonderful warmth and charm in his role as Mike, so even a brief appearance like this will be a welcome one!
