General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is awake and that could lead to grave danger in Port Charles. Before we get to that, let’s back up just a bit and talk about a shocking move.
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) recently held a pillow over Ryan in his room at GH, but Felix DuBois (Marc Anthony Samuel) showed up before the serial killer could be smothered.
When Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) wondered if Nikolas was really going to kill Ryan, he smiled and suggested they would’ve done it together! However, Ryan lived through the visit and ultimately opened his eyes at the end of the December 11 episode.
There’s a good chance Ryan was already coming out of his coma while Ava and Nikolas were around. Ryan probably heard all about how his true love and her husband wanted to murder him. As if Ava and Nikolas needed another reason to be targeted!
Of course, Felix also brought up something important. He pointed out that they weren’t expecting Ryan to wake up anytime soon. That’s how Nikolas and Ava were able to get in Ryan’s room without any problems. Anyone can just wander in and out since there aren’t guards standing in the way.
General Hospital spoilers say this is Ryan’s perfect opportunity to make a sneaky escape. If Ryan can make a quick getaway, he’ll have a chance to wreak havoc in Port Charles once again. Nikolas and Ava could certainly be on Ryan’s hit list, but so could other PC residents.
Julian Jerome (William deVry) could be at risk if he cross paths with Ryan, but that’d probably have to be through a soapy twist of fate.
Regardless, Julian may have enough enemies to contend with since Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) already want him out of the picture.
It’s worth mentioning that Cyrus ordered the attack on Ryan at Pentonville. If Ryan saw who stabbed him, he may know it was someone from Cyrus’ prison crew.
Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) was able to reveal that Cyrus’ minions were behind his own prison attack, so a smart guy like Ryan could surely figure out Cyrus is to blame.
Ryan is actually one of the few people who might be a formidable foe for Cyrus, so it might be interesting to see him tackle this dangerous threat. No matter what Ryan does next, you can bet it’ll be terrifying if he’s out roaming around Port Charles again!
