General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, July 7 – Jason Plans to Kill Dante – Michael’s Deadly Confession – Johnny’s Revenge for Claudia

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, July 7, tease that a gripping classic is in store for fans. GH is throwing it back to an episode that first aired on May 4, 2010. General Hospital spoilers say it features plenty of memorable moments, so here’s what you can look forward to.

In the courtroom, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) takes the witness stand and recalls the events that lead up to Claudia Zacchara’s (Sarah Joy Brown). Michael confesses to killing Claudia and notes that she had a fight with Sonny before abducting Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).

After Michael saw Claudia’s car on the side of the road, he made his way to the cabin and heard Carly scream.

Michael immediately grew concerned and snatched up the handle of a nearby ax. Upon entering and seeing that Claudia was about to kidnap Josslyn Jacks, Michael swung the ax to protect her.

The judge wants to know if Michael wanted to kill Claudia, but Michael insists his only goal was to protect Carly and Josslyn. Afterward, Michael’s charged with manslaughter and denied bail since he’s a flight risk.

At Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) request, he’s allowed to arrest Michael. Once Michael’s handcuffed and led out, the judge announces that murder charges against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have been dropped.

However, Carly could be charged with perjury under the circumstances. The judge isn’t happy with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and Claire Walsh (Dahlia Salem) either.

Later, Carly blames Dante for the situation Michael’s in now. Sonny insists Dante never meant for Michael to land behind bars, but Carly doesn’t believe that. Next, Carly corners Lulu Spencer (Julie Marie Berman) and accuses her of betraying the family for Dante.

Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) struts up to offer her two cents. She feels like Carly started all this by taking Michael away from the Quartermaine clan and letting Sonny raise him.

Tracy wonders if Carly thought Michael would grow up to be a choirboy after being brought up by a criminal. Carly implies that Tracy wouldn’t be so quick to defend Lulu if Dante had arrested Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) instead.

Meanwhile, Sonny argues with Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero), who thinks he’s toxic to his kids. Over with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), he gets Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to hack the PCPD and change the prison guard schedule. Spinelli makes sure a guard on Sonny’s payroll is working so Michael will receive protection.

After Spinelli realizes Jason intends to kill Dante, he tries his best to talk him out of it. Spinelli points out that Michael’s only going to feel worse if Dante ends up dead.

Once Olivia shows up to see Johnny Zacchara (Brandon Barash), he informs her that intends to keep going after Sonny. Johnny feels certain that Claudia would want revenge – and this is the ideal time since Sonny’s vulnerable.

At the police station, Dante walks Michael through the booking process and tells him what comes next. Michael brings up the fact that Dante turned him in and wonders why.

Dante insists that the truth had to come out, especially since Michael was struggling so much. Dante feels confident that Michael will get off with a suspended sentence and therapy.

Carly confronts Dante soon after about being a vindictive liar, but she gets tired of bickering when he defends himself. Once Carly gets in the interrogation room, she offers Michael reassurance.

The judge believed Michael’s side of the story, so Carly’s hopeful about what’s ahead. However, Carly makes it clear that Dante can’t be trusted.

Sonny eventually goes to see Michael, who gets emotional and lets his father know he’s sorry about the confession. Sonny understands, but he never meant for Michael to face punishment for killing Claudia.

Michael didn’t want that for Sonny either, but he now feels like a coward. Sonny shuts down that idea and contends that he respects Michael. Nearby, Jason eavesdrops on their discussion.
