The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Monday, December 21, tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will continue their discussion at the cabin.
As B&B viewers know, Hope has been gushing about how wonderful and loyal Liam is, and she’s praised him as a faithful husband who would never betray her. Of course, this is making Liam absolutely miserable, since he cheated on Hope with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Liam looked very pained as Hope went on about how they can laugh about the mannequin misunderstanding now, and about how she’d never betray her marriage vows.
In fact, It looked a bit like Liam was thinking about confessing his sins to Hope, but The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indicate that he won’t do that.
After all, Liam promised Steffy that he would keep what happened between them a secret forever, since telling the truth would probably ruin Steffy’s relationship with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Well, Liam will respond to all of Hope’s words, but instead of telling her the truth about his affair, he’ll take another approach and sincerely vow to be the husband that Hope deserves going forward.
Chances are, Liam will lay it on a little thick since he’s got a guilty conscience, and that might raise an eyebrow where Hope is concerned, but it doesn’t appear that she’s going to suspect for a moment that Liam was unfaithful.
Meanwhile, on the new episode of B&B on Monday, December 21, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will continue his emotional conversation with Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Ridge is trying to process everything that has happened with his children recently. Ridge lamented about Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) recent brush with death, which obviously terrified him beyond belief.
Then Ridge mentioned how difficult it was for him to lose Phoebe Forrester (MacKenzie Mauzy), and about how he nearly lost Steffy in the motorcycle accident. Brooke seemed to realize just how much Thomas’ recent health troubles impacted Ridge.
Well, on Monday’s episode, Ridge will get very emotional as he talks about Thomas with Brooke. Ridge will probably play the “what if” game, thinking about how Thomas could easily have died.
Ridge might even consider Thomas’ mental health in recent months and wonder if his own behavior throughout the years created the troubled son that he’s seen lately. This would be a natural fear, especially given Steffy’s drug-fueled tirade against her father a few months ago.
During that horrible exchange, Steffy told Ridge that she hated him for breaking up their family, so all of that plus Thomas’ recent troubles could really be impacting Ridge now.
Brooke will surely comfort Ridge, letting him know that he’s not responsible for his adult children’s actions or words. Still, it looks like viewers will see some truly emotional scenes as Ridge lays bare his feelings to Brooke and tries to process everything that’s happened.
