The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) may find herself facing a tricky dilemma. On a recent B&B episode, Steffy told Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) spends the night a couple times per week.
Now that we know Finn’s staying over and obviously making love to Steffy, it settles things ahead of a big storyline.
This seals the deal on Finn being a father option in B&B’s next “who’s the daddy?” Of course, there’s no guarantee The Bold and the Beautiful will take the paternity mystery route, but it makes perfect sense under the circumstances.
Steffy hits the sheets with Liam on Tuesday, December 1, so that means Steffy’s sleeping with two guys around the same period of time.
We know Dr. Campbell (Tina Huang) is coming back on the scene, so that’s more proof that a paternity mystery is ahead. Dr. Campbell was the one who figured out Steffy was pregnant in 2017 and ordered the DNA test since Steffy wasn’t sure if the father was Liam or Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
Wood also happens to be pregnant in real life, so this may be a way to write that in – or at least may have given B&B writers the idea for another pregnancy storyline. Since it looks like Steffy will ultimately find out she’s got a bun in the oven, the writing team had to establish that she was sleeping with Finn, too.
That’s why Steffy mentioned how serious things were getting with Finn and talked about him slipping out some mornings before Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) got up. Just like that, B&B’s got two daddy options if Steffy learns she’s having a baby.
The last time Steffy realized she was pregnant, it was during a routine checkup. That could be the case this time as well, but there’s also a chance Steffy will simply realize she’s late.
Then again, Steffy might faint or face her first bout of morning sickness. Some early pregnancy symptoms might be what clue Steffy in and leave her uncertain of who the father is.
