The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) may find she’s got big competition for Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) heart. B&B fans know Ridge was livid after Brooke betrayed him with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). That led to Ridge’s wild Vegas adventure with Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards), which really seemed to affect Ridge.
Shauna said goodbye to Ridge after Brooke dragged him back to Los Angeles, but this isn’t the end of the road for Shauna and Ridge. B&B has the makings of a solid love triangle here – one that could bring plenty of conflict and heartache.
Brooke may think Ridge is her destiny, but what does it say about their relationship if she always manages to drift back toward Bill?
Now that Ridge has had a little taste of what life with Shauna could be like, it should be tough for him to get her off his mind. Ridge still loves Brooke, but they’ve got major issues in their marriage.
Does Ridge need to ditch Brooke and just let go? Many B&B fans feel like Ridge would be better off with Shauna – and there are some good reasons why.
For starters, Brooke’s ability to be faithful is always in doubt. Can Ridge ever trust that Brooke will love him and only him? At this point in the story, Shauna can offer Ridge that.
Shauna’s crazy about Ridge and views him as the man of her dreams. Shauna may not stay faithful forever since this is a soap, but she’s looking pretty good in the loyalty department right now.
Plus, Shauna can understand Ridge in a way that Brooke can’t. She gets what it’s like to support a child who’s made mistakes. Shauna stood by Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) and didn’t judge Ridge for standing by Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
As Thomas tries to reform in the future, that could once again be a “Bridge” problem. Shauna’s the kind of gal who’ll let Ridge decide what to do for himself.
Ridge seems afraid to repeat the pain of the past, so Shauna could be a bright and shiny new future. Should Ridge go back to Vegas and convince Shauna to come home?
Maybe Ridge won’t even have to due to Flo’s involvement in Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Dr. Penny Escobar’s (Monica Ruiz) storyline. Flo’s drama could be enough to put Shauna back in LA – and in Ridge’s orbit again.
