The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will have a rude awakening soon. As B&B viewers know, Finn’s currently hard at work trying to save Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) life, but what he doesn’t know is that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is keeping an awful secret from him.
Steffy recently slept with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) after imbibing a bit too much. Well, that’s a revelation that could tear Steffy and Finn’s relationship apart.
So far, viewers haven’t seen Finn get flustered or upset about anything – he’s a pretty even-keel guy who just deals with things as they come, but when he hears about Steffy and Liam’s affair, he’s not going to be happy about that, especially since he was warned repeatedly about Liam by Thomas.
Of course, viewers know that Finn dismissed Thomas’ warnings about Liam always circling back to Steffy, saying that he trusted Steffy and that he just wasn’t worried about that.
Once the news about Steffy and Liam’s affair does come to light, viewers will get to see Finn’s angry side, and it’s possible that he could summarily dump Steffy for cheating.
But something tells us that Finn might be willing to listen and understand what Steffy has to say about the affair. After all, she and Liam were drinking heavily, and their judgment was certainly impaired.
Chances are, if Steffy hadn’t been under the influence, she probably wouldn’t have done what she did, and Finn will know it. While Finn might not be able to forgive Liam, he could very well forgive Steffy.
But there might be a few changes that Finn insists on going forward. For example, it would seem to be within Finn’s rights at this point to demand that Steffy and Liam keep their relationship to coparenting and only coparenting.
Certainly, Liam can spend time with Kelly Spencer (Colette and Avalon Gray) without having to come to Steffy for emotional support when he has problems with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
Finn will probably want Steffy to make a firm choice – him or Liam. Finn’s probably not going to want to be staring at that portrait of Steffy and Liam on the living room wall every time he comes over, especially knowing about their drunk tryst that took place in that very room.
Finn may ask Steffy to make her choice and then take that portrait down unless she’s going to choose Liam.
That would seem like a reasonable demand on Finn’s part – after all, who would blame him for not wanting to see a picture of Steffy and her ex on the wall all the time?
We’ll see if Finn goes there, but we suspect that after he learns about Steffy and Liam’s affair, he’s going to want to see some big changes from Steffy before he’s willing to go forward.
