The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) new man finally has a face and a name! B&B fans have been hearing about this mystery guy – and now the actor and character have been revealed. According to TV Line, Tanner Novlan has joined the cast of B&B as Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan, who’ll serve as Steffy’s next love interest.
If Novlan looks familiar, you might’ve seen him in Liberty Mutual commercials or some of his other TV appearances. Novlan has been featured on shows like Modern Family, Rizzoli & Isles and Roswell, New Mexico. The Bold and the Beautiful’s new hire is also married to Kayla Ewell, who played Caitlin Ramirez on B&B from 2004-2005.
As for Novlan’s character, Finn sounds like he’ll be a perfect fit for Steffy. B&B’s bringing on a handsome doctor for Steffy to fall for! It doesn’t get any better than that. Naturally, that means Finn can be used for medical storylines in addition to his love story with Steffy.
Finn may become the resident doc on The Bold and the Beautiful, so that could bring plenty of opportunities to interact with the rest of the cast.
So far, Novlan’s first airdate as Finn hasn’t been announced, but it’s good to have confirmation on who he is. This news will hopefully ease the minds of some Steffy fans who feared this was some impossible dream! Tanner Novlan is indeed coming to B&B and Finn will really be paired up with Steffy, so you can trust that great things are ahead.
Novlan seems to be an excellent casting choice for Steffy’s new love interest. He’s 35 and has just the right look – nice but not TOO nice. It’s easy to imagine this guy having a hint of an edge with a huge heart underneath.
Regardless, it’ll be fun to see Steffy break free from Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and kick off a brand-new love story with someone fans have never seen before. Finn should be an intriguing character, so we’re all eager to meet him!
