The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will try to dust himself off and rebuild his life. However, that could be tough without Thomas’ obsession to keep him focused. Thomas was fixated on Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), but Hope shattered every last bit of hope that they’d ever be together.
What’s Thomas going to do once he’s back on the scene? There’ll undoubtedly be some drama surrounding custody of Douglas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Thomas may even seek revenge on Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Even so, Thomas may fill a void without someone to love – without a goal to work toward.
Thomas has proven that he really doesn’t know how to love women properly. It’d hard to imagine Thomas’ next romance will start off as a healthy one. It might become one later, but it makes more sense for Thomas to develop a new obsession.
After all, B&B needs a bad boy to keep things interesting. They can’t reform Thomas too much or else they’ll use a lot of his appeal.
If Thomas indeed finds a new woman to fixate on, who might that be? We can think of one good option, although she might seem a bit surprising at first. Many Bold and the Beautiful fans have complained about Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) just being an alternate version of Hope.
It’s common for viewers to refer to Flo as “Hope 2.0” or “Hope Lite” on social media. Flo is often considered another goody-goody blonde that B&B sets up as the victim in stories.
With that in mind, perhaps Flo could become Thomas’ new obsession – his backup Logan family member. They had some issues due to Thomas’ threats during the baby swap chaos, but that’s nothing for Thomas to worry about. If Thomas thought he had a shot with Hope, he could certainly believe he has a shot with Flo, too.
Flo may be in love with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) right now, but Thomas apparently likes taken women! He went after Hope while she was with Liam, so he wouldn’t see another Spencer as a huge obstacle. Wyatt wouldn’t be real competition in Thomas’ eyes.
No matter how things play out with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), Thomas could still take an interest in Flo. After Sally’s ultimately exposed, maybe Thomas could serve as Flo and Wyatt’s next hurdle. Since Thomas can be so manipulative, there’s a possibility that he could get what he wants – at least for a while.
