The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will work a familiar angle in his quest to be with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). From the very beginning, Thomas has manipulated Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) through Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). That trend will continue as Douglas grows increasingly upset over the situation Thomas has created.
At this point, Thomas still as no real interest in Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) or their future together. Zoe’s just a pawn in his game – and Douglas is as well for the most part.
Of course, Thomas genuinely believes it’s best for Daddy and Mommy Hope to be a united family with Douglas. He’s convinced himself that scoring a new mother for his son is necessary and feels Hope’s the best one.
However, Hope is already serving as a mom to Douglas, so anything Thomas does now is purely for selfish reasons. They could co-parent peacefully and successfully, but that’s not what Thomas wants.
Thomas is determined to be with Hope, so he’ll take some daring steps to make that happen. Thomas will put his own son’s emotional well-being at stake, but he’ll think it’s a small price to pay.
As Douglas acts out over Thomas’ pretend Zoe worship, Th Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope will be quite concerned. She’ll eventually confront Thomas about what this is doing to the boy, but Thomas will spin that around on Hope instead. Thomas will point out that Hope didn’t want to be with him, so he had no choice but to move on.
Thomas may remind Hope that this is what she pushed him to do. He’ll try to make Hope feel guilty for the pain Douglas is enduring – and it looks like that plan will work. It could be a crucial next step in Thomas’ mission to win Hope over.
Once Thomas sees how well this phase of the plot’s working, he may decide to up the ante. What better way to cause a full-blown Douglas meltdown than to propose to Zoe? B&B fans can expect a major bombshell at an upcoming Forrester dinner. Will Thomas decide he’s tired of waiting and just go for it?
Based on Thomas’ previous behavior, it wouldn’t be unreasonable for him to get down on one knee and pop the question in front of everyone. Thomas might hope that Douglas would completely freak out. It could leave Hope wondering if Douglas will ever be able to accept his dad with someone besides her.
Whatever the case, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say this Forrester dinner could be a gamechanger – and Hope will be invited to witness the mayhem!
