The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that the action is going to pick up this week, as we’ll be back to brand-new episodes. B&B viewers will remember that before the hiatus, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was nowhere to be found. He had been very publicly exposed for being a liar and manipulator, and for trying to use his own young son to get Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) to stop his wedding to Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes).
Well, Hope stopped the wedding, but the result was pure disaster for Thomas when Hope revealed that she was playing him and that Zoe, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) were all in on it with her.
Thomas then slunk out of the wedding, totally humiliated while Liam, Hope, and Douglas formed a happy little family together.
Ever since, Thomas has been absent and keeping his distance from his family. Chances are, he’s with his buddy Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero), or at least Vinny knows where he is.
And at this point, there’s probably not much that will bring Thomas out of hiding – except maybe what’s about to happen to Seffy. According to B&B spoilers, Steffy will be out riding her motorbike for some “me” time when she winds up in a terrible accident and collides with another car.
But it won’t be just another car – Steffy will end up being hit by Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) car, and it looks like Steffy’s injuries are going to be fairly severe, at least severe enough to land her right in the hospital.
Bill is going to feel terribly about the accident, and B&B spoilers say that he’ll be feeling guilty and apologetic, at least at first until he knows that Steffy is going to be ok.
Surely, word of Steffy’s accident will reach Thomas, as Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) or Eric Forrester (John McCook) will surely reach out to him. Will Thomas rush right to his sister’s side?
Given everything that’s gone down, he might be hesitant to come back, but this is his sister that we’re talking about here, and he and Steffy have a close bond despite everything that’s happened. Thomas might go into protective mode and come to Steffy’s bedside asap.
In fact, this whole situation with Steffy could end up bringing Ridge and Thomas back together for a common cause. As B&B viewers will remember, Ridge was pretty peeved with Thomas at the wedding for playing him, but that might all go to the wayside given what’s happened to Steffy.
We can’t imagine that either Ridge or Thomas will be happy with Bill for being the one who hit Steffy with his car, so that’s something else that could unite them.
Of course, Ridge is already furious with Bill for being caught on video kissing Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), and now Bill may be responsible for Steffy being laid up in the hospital.
At this point, it’s not clear exactly who will be at fault for the accident, but something tells us that Ridge will blame Bill no matter what. And the same will probably go for Thomas.
Plus, Thomas might see an opportunity here – to get back on Ridge’s good side by uniting with him against Bill. Perhaps we’ll see Thomas really turn up the bravado against Bill.
That should bring out some additional ire from Bill, since he absolutely can’t stand Thomas anyway. And Thomas could have an additional motive for strongly aligning with Ridge against Bill – by keeping Ridge’s rage against Bill alive, Thomas could ensure that Ridge doesn’t reunite with Brooke.
We’ll see what happens here, but Thomas might just find some creative ways to use Steffy’s accident and Bill’s involvement in it to his advantage. Do you expect to see Thomas return right after Steffy’s accident?
