The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, August 14, teases that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will remain in excruciating pain. Steffy resisted taking pain meds at first, but she’s come to rely on them in the aftermath of her crash.
Since Steffy still has a long road back to 100 percent, the idea of recovering without these painkillers has to be daunting.
After Steffy takes her last dose, she’ll find herself looking at the bottom of an empty pill bottle. Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) doesn’t think Steffy should get a refill and has instructed her to use ibuprofen when these pain meds run out.
Although Steffy will want to obey her doctor’s orders, it’ll be tough when she’s in such agony.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy will pretend she’s fine, but she may not be able to get away with that act for long? Finn will pop in for another visit in the week ahead, so he might see just how much Steffy’s suffering.
It’ll be interesting to see if Finn changes his mind about a refill or if Steffy has to find an alternative solution.
Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) has given Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) drugs in the past, so Steffy might be his next customer. Since Vinny has a huge crush on Steffy, he’d certainly be willing to pitch in and help her cope with her pain.
Unfortunately, B&B fans expect a serious addiction story for Steffy soon, so this should turn into quite a battle.
Meanwhile, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) will unload all her frustration. Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) recently got the scoop from Eric Forrester (John McCook), but she’ll want updates from Brooke, too.
On Friday’s episode, Brooke will speak to Donna about the divorce bombshell and new marriage drama.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) tied the knot with Shauna Forrester (Denise Richards), so Brooke’s feeling bitter and heartbroken right now. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke will open up to Donna about the horror of it all.
Although Ridge was drunk, Brooke just can’t believe that he’d betray their love like this.
Brooke and Shauna will discuss the processed divorce papers along with that Vegas wedding. In this somber, fragile state of mind, Brooke will feel like Shauna has emerged victorious.
Brooke will most definitely think she’s a loser in love, but she’s bound to get her groove back eventually! You can never really keep Brooke down, so she may resolve to dig deeper in the weeks ahead.
If Brooke truly takes the time to think about this marriage shocker, she may determine that Shauna’s been up to no good. Brooke may even point the finger at Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) sooner or later.
B&B viewers know Brooke’s not usually one to give up without a fight, so all this talk of conceding defeat may not last long.
