Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers confirm that two actresses from the CBS soap have scored 2026 Daytime Emmy nominations in the Lead Actress category.
This is big news as it is the first year that BTG and its cast were eligible for Daytime Emmy nominations.
As of this writing, only the Outstanding Lead Actress and Outstanding Lead Actor Daytime Emmy nominations for this year have been revealed.
While none of the men from the CBS soap were nominated for the Outstanding Lead Actor category, the women have dominated the Outstanding Lead Actress category.
On behalf of everyone at CDL, we extend a huge congratulations to both Karla Mosley (Dani Dupree) and Tamara Tunie (Anita Dupree), as the women are in the running for the Lead Actress Daytime Emmy award this year.
In addition, we also pass on our congrats to the other women nominated in that category.
This includes, The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers), as well as The Bold and the Beautiful’s (B&B) Heather Tom (Katie Logan), and Days of Our Lives’ Stacy Haiduk (Kristen DiMera).
Both Mosley and Tunie are first-time Daytime Emmy nominees in the category, even though Beyond the Gates isn’t their first time on a soap.
As some fans know, Mosely played Maya Avant Forrest on The Bold and the Beautiful, while Tunie was on As the World Turns (ATWT), as Jessica Griffin.
Dani Dupree had an interesting 2025, dealing with her broken marriage to cheater husband, Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett), as she had to watch him remarry family friend and gold-digger Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings).
Still, watching her fall in lust – and then love – with Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) was interesting!
Meanwhile, Anita Dupree, the family’s matriarch, struggled to keep her children and grandchildren in order last year, while learning she had breast cancer during the 2025 holiday season.
