The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will get a text message that’s going to change his life, but he’ll have to solve a bit of a puzzle first. Y&R fans know Devon was left feeling like a sucker thanks to Colin Atkinson’s (Tristan Rogers) twisted scam.
Colin even dragged Hilary Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) lookalike into this. By including Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) in his messed-up strategy, Colin toyed with some deep emotions and played dirtier than ever. He ultimately stole billions from Devon, who’s been fighting to get his money back ever since.
That’s why Devon will grow suspicious when he receives a text from an unknown caller. This text will contain a string of numbers that don’t mean anything to Devon. He won’t know what’s going on here, so he’ll turn to Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) for help.
Of course, Chance is great at dropping from ceilings and rushing into danger. Code-cracking, on the other hand, isn’t really his forte. Chance will think there’s someone else in town who’d be far better at handling this, so it won’t be long until Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) is contacted.
Kevin’s always down to do Devon a favor, but he’ll be especially interested since this could help take down Colin. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kevin will get to work and find some answers soon enough. He’ll examine the numbers and determine that they’re for an offshore bank account with $2.475 billion in it.
Devon’s name will be listed on the account, so this will all be pretty perplexing to him. The mystery will deepen when Devon receives another text containing an apology. Colin – or at least someone claiming to be Colin – will admit money can make you crazy. He’ll be sorry for his actions, but this isn’t a very Colin-like move.
Now it’s certainly possible Colin had a change of heart since Y&R tends to go for “all’s well that ends well” story endings these days. Things tend to end with a fizzle, so that may be the case here. It’s also possible that Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) is actually behind these texts and is trying to undo some of Colin’s damage on the sly.
Either way, Devon’s fortune will be found and that’s enough of a reason to celebrate! If more answers come later, that’s even better. The Young and the Restless spoilers, news and updates point to some hot drama, so don’t miss all the action.
