The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, January 17, tease that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will come clean to her children. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) is already in the loop, and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) hears Sharon’s confession on Wednesday. Sharon wants to keep the secret circle small, but she knows she can’t leave her kids in the dark.
Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) has grown suspicious, but Sharon’s confirmation is sure to be devastating on Thursday. Sharon will want to stay strong for Faith’s sake, but it’ll be hard when Faith looks so terrified.
Y&R spoilers say Faith will ask Sharon if she’s scared, but Sharon will want to focus on beating this. She’ll insist she’s not going anywhere and hope that’s enough to convince her youngest.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will also get updates on Sharon’s cancer diagnosis. Although Mariah and Sharon have a close bond now, that wasn’t always the case. As Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) long-lost twin, Mariah came in the picture much later. She missed out on so many years with her mom, so the thought of Sharon’s life being cut short will hit her hard.
This is coming on the heels of Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) tour decision, so it’ll be a lot of upheaval for Mariah to take in. Nevertheless, Mariah will want to concentrate on Sharon and her needs.
Sharon’s always doing whatever she can to help others, but it’s her turn to get love and support. As for Noah Newman (Robert Adamson), he should get a terrible phone call – hopefully one that brings him back to town.
While Sharon’s loved ones rally around her, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will corner Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Chelsea’s motives will be questioned, so Nikki may wonder why Chelsea really got back together with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Perhaps Nikki will suspect Chelsea’s got some sort of agenda or possibly reunited with Adam for Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) sake. Regardless, it’s clear that Chelsea’s in this for love. She was bound to make her way back to Adam eventually, so Nick was just a detour in her “Chadam” journey.
Over with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he’ll want to get a few things straight with his son. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will drop some honesty on Adam, but he’s already voiced his concerns about Chelsea. Adam won’t be down for another round of Chelsea trashing, so this might be about something else.
Then again, Victor may press his luck with another Chelsea slam session. Either way, Victor won’t be shy about speaking his mind!
