If there’s trouble afoot, Sheila is almost always going to land at the center of it. That’s why Sheila may ultimately get pulled into Steffy’s surrogacy charade.
Sheila set off a terrible chain reaction after she landed in Monaco, where she left Steffy reeling.
Since John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) didn’t warn Steffy about Sheila’s arrival, Steffy was furious enough to return home and drunkenly pounce on Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).
Now Steffy is having Carter’s baby and struggling to cover it up.
Steffy will inevitably go against Finn’s stance and pretend she’s going through the surrogacy steps for Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire), so Sheila could eventually make a disturbing discovery.
However, Sheila might do something unexpected once his secret lands in her lap.
This may become Sheila’s opportunity to prove herself to Steffy, so let’s consider how this B&B storyline might go down.
Steffy might panic thinking Sheila is going to blab to Finn about her betrayal and try to break them up.
If not, Steffy might assume Sheila is going to blackmail her way into spending time with Finn and Hayes Finnegan (Bryan David Garlick).
That’s when Sheila might floor Steffy by insisting she’s not going to do any of those things.
Sheila might take at least some responsibility for Steffy’s spinout and argue that she knows what it’s like to make mistakes you can’t take back.
Maybe Sheila will promise she’s going to keep her mouth shut and help Steffy sell this surrogacy lie.
Sheila might insist that what matters most to her is Finn’s happiness and vow to help Steffy cover this up with no strings attached.
Of course, Sheila may admit she’d love to connect with Finn and Hayes, but she may promise she won’t use this info as leverage regardless.
Steffy may end up stunned if Sheila leaves the ball in Steffy’s court when it comes to granting family visits.
Sheila recently told Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) that she didn’t want anything to come between Finn and Steffy, not even Sheila herself.
Sheila is on a new path now, so she might become a team player in the surrogacy plot and gain Steffy’s approval as a result.
Steffy might actually start to see Sheila in a new light if her mother-in-law covers for her and doesn’t make any demands.
