The Young and the Restless spoilers review for Friday, March 6, tease that the Genoa City ice storm will continue on in full force. Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), Summer Newman (Hunter King), and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will remain stranded at Society. Lola will be bothered by the sight of Kyle and Summer getting cozy playing cards, which will prompt Theo to go stir the pot with Kyle, suggesting that the four of them play strip poker.
Summer and Lola will head to the bar for some girl bonding, and during an impromptu bartending lesson for Summer, she’ll apologize that there was nowhere else for her and Kyle to wait out the storm. She’ll say that she wants Lola to be happy. Meanwhile, Kyle and Theo will arm wrestle and bicker about Theo cheating. Finally, Theo will make a crack about Kyle having two ex-wives in the room, and Lola will take Theo to the kitchen.
There, she’ll distract Theo with talk about what their first date would look like, presuming that she says yes. They’ll decide on perhaps a movie, then a ramen shop, then a bakery for dessert. They’ll wind up kissing, then they’ll head back out to the dining area where they’ll find Kyle and Summer asleep on one of the couches in each other’s arms. Lola and Theo will cuddle up across the room, while Lola glances in Summer and Kyle’s direction.
Next, at the Newman ranch, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will lament about being stuck there for the night. Adam will prepare to negotiate more with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) over the Newman CEO position, and as the men talk, Victor will tell Adam that he’s looking for someone he can trust. Just then, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and Chelsea will interrupt, as Connor is afraid of the storm.
Later, Chelsea will talk with Victor alone, and she’ll say that she hopes that the two of them can figure this out. She’ll say that Adam deserves to run Newman Enterprises, and that he loves Victor and wants to solidify his legacy. Victor noted that he’d love to give his approval to Adam – more than the two of them realize.
Meanwhile, on the new episode of Y&R on Friday, March 6, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will get herself caught up in Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) mission. He’ll want to capitalize on the ice storm and infiltrate Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) room at the Grand Phoenix, looking for the digital recordings of his Vegas conversation with Adam.
Chance will try to keep Abby out of it, but she’ll appear in Phyllis’ room as he breaks in and tell him that she’s in. She’ll figure out what he’s there to find, and she’ll help by finding a thumb drive in a drawer, then she’ll douse Phyllis’ computer with water to destroy any recording on it. Abby will then take Chance into Phyllis’ shower, and the two will make love after committing this crime against Phyllis.
Finally, over at Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) place, he and Phyllis will enjoy some popcorn, fruit, and cheese together as they ride out the storm. They’ll talk a bit about their relationship and the kiss at the gala, then talk will turn to the CEO position at Newman Enterprises. Phyllis will think that Nick should take the position, but Nick will change the subject pretty quickly.
They’ll banter back and forth about their relationship some more, as well as their respective love lives. They’ll say repeatedly that they’re better as friends, as they remember some of their fights and how they hurt each other. They’ll say that they like where they are now and that they want to avoid falling back into old habits. Phyllis will say that they both know that she has a weakness when it comes to him.
She’ll go on about how she respects him as a man and as a father, and how he seduces her without every trying. They’ll continue bantering, until finally Nick takes Phyllis’ hand and they start kissing passionately, taking off each other’s clothes.
