The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will take a walk on the wild side. Since Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) is eager to get his hands on Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) incriminating recordings, Abby will set out to help him. Chance will admit this sneaky plan could be risky, but Abby won’t mind. She’ll actually think the danger of it all sounds exciting.
Plus, Abby’s always down for anything that crushes Phyllis’ dreams. She’ll be eager to score a win over Phyllis and get Chance out of her twisted web. Here’s where things get all kinds of weird! Abby will don a red wig that’s quite similar to Phyllis’ particular shade. She’ll also wear a dress that seems like it’d be Phyllis’ style. She’ll become a Phyllis clone – at least as much as she can be!
Obviously, Abby can’t make herself look exactly like Phyllis, but Chance may feel like she’s a close enough match from a distance. Regardless, Abby will look completely ridiculous. The humiliation of reducing herself to this will be worth it if she can gain the upper hand. That’ll be Abby’s main goal here. Apparently, a victory is better than dignity as far as Abby’s concerned.
The Young and the Restless spoilers, news and updates say this impersonation plot will move forward, so let’s talk about the next step. Chance will hand over a fake passport and any other bogus identification she needs. Abby won’t be worried about breaking any laws here. She’ll be too caught up in this idea of besting Phyllis to care about much else.
However, a sudden obstacle will emerge when the real Phyllis shows up out of the blue. She’ll bang on Chance’s door and demand entrance, so he may think he should let her in to avoid suspicion. Y&R fans can expect Abby to hide in the bathroom since she’ll have this Phyllis getup on. She won’t want to tip Phyllis off to what they’re up to.
Once Chance lets Phyllis in, he’ll probably urge her to get to the point. Chance will want to keep this short to avoid any possibility of exposure. Unfortunately, Phyllis never leaves until she’s good and ready. She’ll stick around long until to hurl insult after insult about Abby, which will push this little impersonator to her breaking point!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say there’ll be an Abby anger explosion, which will put this entire impersonation plan in jeopardy. Will Phyllis discover her “lookalike” hiding out there? Whatever the case, Chance will find himself facing a very fierce Phyllis later! She’ll come at him hard, so it certainly sounds like Abby will derail their strategy.
