The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) spot at the top is far from secure. Y&R fans have seen enough CEO shakeups to know by now that stability isn’t really a thing at Newman Enterprises. Sooner or later, a different Newman always rises to power.
Victoria has been making bold moves to flex her business muscles and prove a point. Ever since Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) reinstated Victoria as CEO, she’s been taking risks and stirring up drama.
It’s true that some of Victoria’s risks have paid off, but she also hates Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) with a passion. Victoria is adamant that Victor needs to give up on his son, which Victor’s never going to do.
Instead, it seems far more likely that Adam will reclaim the Newman throne at the end of all this. After all, that’s what started this mess in the first place.
If Victor hadn’t snubbed Adam when he pushed for the CEO spot, Adam wouldn’t have gone down the Kansas rabbit hole. Finding out the truth about AJ Montalvo’s death led to Adam’s latest round of revenge drama.
Now that Adam has backed off that revenge plot, Victor will kick up his efforts to save his son from himself. The Young and the Restless spoilers say some tender father-son moments may be on the horizon as the holidays approach.
Victor will eventually make progress in his relationship with Adam, but that won’t go over well with the rest of the Newman clan.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will find herself in a terrible position as the family conflict spirals out of control. Victoria could make trouble for herself if she tries to sabotage Adam and Victor’s reconciliation in any way.
Nikki may try to keep the peace if that happens, but we all know Adam is Victor’s favorite. Victor will never side with Victoria over Adam – and that could spell trouble for her role at Newman Enterprises.
Could there be another Newman in the CEO chair by 2021? It wouldn’t be surprising if Victor tried to show his faith in Adam by trusting him with the gig. Victoria may push Victor too far and pay the price for it.
Y&R is setting Victoria up for a huge fall with her smug attitude and desire to push Adam out of the family for good. It may be Victoria who ultimately ends up as an outsider – at least in Victor’s eyes!
