The Young and the Restless spoilers document that a number of clear conscience characters were last seen in April. Now, with new Y&R episodes set to be shown in August, a fair question can be asked. Which character could become a villain, or be perceived as one, in the near future?
Let’s focus on current residents of Genoa City, Wisconsin. So, in other words, which character is most likely to turn from a good to dastardly?
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chance Chancellor Was Handling Adam Newman’s Spider
Imagine Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) surprise if he learns that Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) didn’t just run into him in Las Vegas, Nevada. Instead, the character Boaz is portraying was assigned to Adam, who came to call himself Spider, after the cabin exploded in 2016.
In this assumed storyline twist, the authorities would have taken advantage of Adam’s memory loss by using him. Chance’s stated pursuit of a suspect, who Adam has admitting to killing in self-defense, actually was an orchestration.
So, Chance’s bond with Adam wasn’t random, which would make sense. Why would Chance have kept Adam’s existence a secret? Because he was using him as a directed operative, which Grossman’s character didn’t know because he was suffering from amnesia at the time and hasn’t yet been told.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Elena Dawson Unable To Deal With Reveal
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) is a good person. Her vocation involves helping people using her medical skills. Viewers recall she’s doing that at the hospital and by volunteering time at the New Hope clinic.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) veered off-course when Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) and their unborn child died in 2018. But he met Elena, they fell in love, and all seemed well until Amanda Sinclair (Morgan’s second Y&R character) came to town.
The reveal would, of course, be Amanda determining that she’s Hilary’s identical twin. That would, in this scenario, cause Elena to become jealous and then start a relationship with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Summer Newman Assumes Control
It’s understood that Summer Newman (Hunter King) is already considered a villain by some. But let’s try and see her on balance.
Summer left GC a handful of years ago and returned with a different personality. Chalk that up to immaturity because she’s seemingly gotten herself back on course within the last six months.
Yet, Summer is ambitious. With that could come Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) directive that she share power with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) at Jabot.
Because she is Phick’s daughter, Summer has been known to employ creative morality. If Kyle becomes distracted, as he has in the past, Summer might have no choice but to take over for the proclaimed love of her life at Jabot, or at least that’s how she would play it.
