Tonight’s episode begins with Deran freaking out because he thinks the feds are going to come after him when they realize when Livengood is missing. J takes charge, he tells them to bleach the evidence, get rid of the body and Pope has the bullet. Pope and J find Livengood’s car outside, it’s a personal car. Pope has his phone, J tells him to turn it off and give it to him.
They remove the body from the bar and put it in the trunk of the car. J gives Deran and Craig advice on what to do, stay away from surveillance videos. They arrive at the border, they want it to look like Livengood was killed in a hit, but when the guy finds out that he is DEA, he wants none of it. He tells him that he is leaving, he won’t do it for ten grand. Pope asks what it will take, the guy says twenty-five grand and they have a lot more driving to do.
We take a look back at Smurf, she is hiding and scouting Max, getting the low down on him. Smurf is still following him around town and watching him, she sees him go into the club. Later, while the kids are busy playing on the swings, Smurf wants to know when Max goes to the club.
Craig and Deran are sitting together, only Chadwick knows what went down and they just need him to keep his mouth shut. Deran is really nervous, Craig tells him that J will get the job done.
Frankie shows up at the Cody house, she has a guy who does money transfers from there to LA. These guys make money in and move it out. Deran wants to think about Craig tells her that he will speak to him. Deran agrees to the hawala, if things go south with the Livengood thing it will be good to have cash on them.
Pope and J arrive at the destination, two guys are there but they don’t speak much English. The two guys want Pope and J to cut off Livengood’s hand, Pope tells J to get on it. J does it without any hesitation. Next, they have to pass into the indigenous territory and leave the car with the hand it, they have no feds or police that can get in there without their permission. The two guys are throwing the body into a hole in the floor, they are going to drag the body underground to the border.
Frankie is back, she tells Deran and Craig the meeting is that afternoon. But first, she wants to be cut in, she wants half. Deran tells her they are talking about a million in cash. She says if the exchange goes bad she is caught, there is a lot of risks. She is only asking for fair compensation. Deran says they will split it up equally.
Smurf disguises herself in a blond wig and enters the club, she has a gun with her. Max walks in, walks over to the stage, and sits down in the front. Smurf brings him a drink and whispers something to him. When he doesn’t join her for a lap dance, Smurf figures out that something is up and faces Linda. Smurf finds out that Linda backstabbed her and told Max what was going down. Smurf runs out of there afraid for the children.
Frankie tells Craig that she was looking for a way out and then he showed up. She’ll be leaving for Central America when the job is done. Frankie goes in to do the deal, she is frisked and offers a bag of money, her 30k that she is sending to Costa Rica. Deran and Craig are outside.
Pope and J wipe down Livengood’s car in the desert. Livengood gets a text from his daughter, he is supposed to pick her up from soccer practice. Inside the car, the hand is left on the seat. They blow up the truck they arrive in and Pope tells J that they are not the same.
Frankie arrives at home, Max is there with the kids. He asks her if she wants to come in and talk and tells the kids to go in as well, he wants the kids to see this. Smurf gives in but first feels for her gun that she has stashed in the back of her pants. Max asks her why she is setting him up. She says she wanted to talk to him about high-level shit where they can make more money. He attacks her and asks her if she is going to kill him. He finds her gun and pulls it out, throws it on the floor. Pope stabs Max and gives Smurf enough time to get away she shoots Max dead.
Deran put a tracker on the money, it is on the move with the hawala. Pope and J are back, Frankie leaves. J says they had to give an extra 15k but the issue is handled.
Smurf has Manny and J disposed of Max’s body. Smurf goes in and makes chili for Pope, she talks to him about what happened and then gives him his knife back and tells him that he did good.
The boys follow the tracker, they end up at a shipping dock
