General Hospital Thursday, October 1 Recap: Willow’s Pardon Deal for Curtis – Michael Thrown in Lake by BLQ

General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, October 1, reveals that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) tried to bargain with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) for his freedom.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) decided he’d had enough after Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) accused him of lying.

At Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) apartment, she stunned Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) by declaring that Curtis was in the hospital and Sonny was responsible.

Gio felt there must be another explanation, but Trina wanted Gio to ask Sonny not to kill Curtis now that he’d spilled to the cops.

Once Dante made his way to Sonny’s place, Sonny assured his son that he wasn’t responsible for the attacks.

Dante didn’t believe Sonny, who angrily pointed out that he would’ve killed Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Raot) at the gallery if he wanted him dead.

Gio showed up and eavesdropped from the doorway as the confrontation got increasingly heated.

Sonny eventually ordered Dante to get out of his house since he didn’t want a son like him.

At GH, Willow flexed her Congress status so she could visit Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), who realized she was interested in Sonny dirt because he was Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) father.

Curtis suggested his hands were tied as long as he was an inmate, so he wanted Willow to get the governor to pardon him.

If Willow did that and delivered freedom news, Curtis suggested he could help her with Sonny.

Afterward, Willow used her position as a congresswoman to get Trina in earlier than planned and told the guard she could stay as long as she wanted with Curtis.

Willow eventually spoke to Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) about Curtis’ discharge, which was supposed to happen today.

After Willow brought up the risk of certain complications, she pushed Tristan to extend Curtis’ stay by a few days.

Tristan eventually agreed not to discharge Curtis yet and hinted about having a congresswoman in his debt.

As for Trina, she reunited with Curtis in his room and pushed him to do everything he could to stay safe back in prison.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) pushed Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to either divorce Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) or forgive her and move on.

Chase was a hypocrite in Tracy’s eyes since he judged Brook Lynn while constantly giving Willow the benefit of the doubt.

After Chase pointed out that Brook Lynn was the one he was married to, Tracy told herself that wouldn’t be the case for much longer.

By the Quartermaine boathouse, Michael urged Brook Lynn not to get a legal separation and just wait until Willow made her move.

Michael felt confident that Chase would commit a betrayal, which would give Brook Lynn the upper hand in the custody fight.

Brook Lynn ultimately shoved Michael into the lake and lashed out over him trying to manipulate Chase as part of his plan to take down Willow.

A now soaked Michael got out of the water and rushed to his own defense.

Chase eventually popped up during the confrontation and wondered if Brook Lynn was OK.

When Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) visited Scout Cain’s (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) house to talk to her about Charlotte Cassadine’s (Bluesy Burke) boarding school fate, she scolded him for sneaking in.

Scout also found out Danny threw the first swing in a fight with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and was ashamed of her brother.

Danny assured Scout of his love and said he’d always be there if she needed him.

Scout snapped that she’d never need Danny and pushed him to stay away from her.

A heartbroken Danny headed to the Quartermaine mansion, where Tracy heard what happened with Rocco and Scout.

Tracy knew Danny must’ve had a good reason for decking Rocco, so he appreciated someone being able to see his side.

Tracy also pushed Danny to give Scout some time and felt confident they’d patch things up since siblings often fight.

At Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) place, Rocco tried to make it out of the house without his mom seeing him.

Lulu wanted to say goodbye like normal people and was upset when she realized Rocco had a black eye.

Rocco admitted he got into a fight with Danny, so Lulu was upset over Danny causing issues for both her children.

That’s why Lulu paid Tracy a visit at the Q manse to rant about Danny’s actions.

As for Scout, she tracked Rocco down and let him know that she cut ties with Danny over what he did.
