Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, October 7, tease that Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) invitation will win Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) over while Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) faces a horrible decision. Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will also learn his fate, so let’s talk about what Days fans can expect.
For starters, Brady will get Chloe’s attention with an intriguing invite. He’ll mention an autumn outing that Rachel Black (Finley Rose) is looking forward to and hope Chloe’s willing to join them. Chloe might be reluctant at first and suggest this should just be some daddy-daughter time instead.
However, Brady will probably lay it on thick about how much Rachel misses Chloe. Rachel herself might even get in on this and beg Chloe to join their day of fall fun. Chloe will probably know Philip isn’t going to like this, but she’ll get on board anyway. She might try to believe Philip’s matured enough to not flip out over an innocent outing.
Unfortunately, that won’t end up being the case when Philip gets updates later. Philip’s going to view this as a manipulative move on Brady’s part and will accuse Chloe of betraying him before the week’s over.
In the meantime, Philip will be busy fighting for control of Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Camila Banus) company. DOOL fans know Philip got the goods from Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), who scored incriminating mob info that could send Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) to the slammer.
Gabi will wonder what on earth Philip’s talking about, so he’ll spell it out for her. Philip will insist Jake hasn’t been completely honest about his past and will add that Jake was a hitman. Days spoilers say Philip will reiterate that Gabi’s going to sign Gabi Chic over to him or else Jake will land behind bars.
This will leave Gabi on a mission to confront Jake, who previously downplayed his role as a mob enforcer. Jake clearly did a lot more than just rough people up who wouldn’t pay. He was willing to kill if he was ordered to, so he’ll have some explaining to do soon enough.
Until then, Ava won’t be able to resist taunting Jake a bit. She’ll know exactly what’s going down in Philip and Gabi’s meeting, but she’ll pretend she’s in the dark and drop some hints that baffle Jake.
Other Days spoilers say Xander and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will hope Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) comes through on his portion of the plan. Gwen did the hard part by getting Judge Smails (Richard Steinmetz) on tape admitting he’d dismiss the case if she slept with him.
Now Justin’s in the middle of blackmailing this corrupt judge and hopefully getting Xander’s case tossed out along with Bonnie Lockhart’s (Judi Evans). While Justin pressures Judge Smails, Xander and Gwen will think about their future together. They’ll count on Justin to score Xander’s freedom and hope for good news, but some complications could be brewing.
