Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 10, reveals that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) changed Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) into a cat while Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) discovered Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) baby book. Here’s how it all went down on Wednesday’s DOOL episode.
In the town square, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) gave Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) a blonde wig for her role as Celeste Perrault (Tanya Boyd) in the possession movie.
Johnny also wanted Chanel to learn how to use tarot cards and make the audience believe in Celeste’s belief that the devil was in Salem.
At home, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) continued to worry about Susan’s warning of someone evil coming for the baby.
Ciara thought maybe Susan got her wires crossed and tried to offer reassurance before Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) arrived with Belle Brady (Martha Madison).
After Belle and Shawn congratulated the parents-to-be, they got updates on Susan’s latest ramblings.
Belle and Shawn were upset over Susan scaring Ciara and Ben, but Ciara argued that Susan genuinely wanted to help. She also urged Shawn to butt out and let them handle this, so he reluctantly agreed.
Since Ciara was nervous about motherhood, Belle suggested a book that might help. While Ben and Ciara dashed off to purchase it, Belle suggested to Shawn that they should go see Marlena about Susan.
At the townhouse, Susan insisted Marlena wasn’t her friend and called her the devil incarnate. Marlena acted like that was ridiculous at first, but the devil eventually confirmed his presence through glowing eyes and a deeper voice.
Susan pulled out a cross to protect herself, but Marlena was astounded over how dumb she was and bashed her in the head with it.
At the hospital on Wednesday’s Days episode, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) once again pushed Abe Carver (James Reynolds) to postpone the wedding. Paulina blamed it on health concerns, but Abe insisted he was fine and worried maybe Paulina didn’t want to marry him.
After Paulina reassured Abe, she took off to run an errand.
In the waiting area, Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) admitted to Theo that she still had concerns about the whole matron of honor thing. Theo offered to talk to Chanel and make sure she was really OK with it, so they hugged in a sweet brother-sister moment.
Paulina looked uncomfortable as she walked by and witnessed it.
Later, Abe talked to Lani about how overprotective Paulina was being. Lani thought that was to be expected since Abe got shot, but Abe felt like something else was going on.
While Susan was knocked out on the floor, Paulina showed up at the townhouse. Marlena let Paulina in and learned she couldn’t go through with confessing the truth to Lani or Abe.
Marlena feared Paulina’s marriage could be doomed as a result, but they were interrupted by Susan’s half-conscious groans.
When Paulina went around the sofa to investigate, she was stunned to find a black cat. Marlena introduced Paulina to Susan, so Paulina mentioned that she’d never seen buck teeth on a cat before.
Marlena admitted Susan wasn’t doing so well due to mental issues and might have to be put down.
In the town square, Theo found Chanel working on a scene with Johnny and realized she was playing his grandma in the film. Theo offered to give Chanel some tips on doing a Creole accent and in return, he asked Chanel to talk to Lani about her matron of honor gig.
Once Chanel made it to the hospital, she approached Lani to discuss what Theo brought up. Lani recalled how serious Paulina made her request seem at her apartment before the shooting. Chanel flashed back to Paulina acting like she didn’t plan her request and just did it to comfort Lani.
Although Chanel was clearly upset, she acted like Paulina’s wedding day should be all about making her happy. When Paulina ran into her daughter, Chanel insisted she was just leaving and stomped off to get on the elevator.
In the town square again on Wednesday’s Days episode, Theo assured Johnny that there was no awkwardness about him dating Chanel. What would be awkward is running into Ciara and Ben! Suddenly, Ben and Ciara came around the corner, so they were taken aback to see Theo.
Theo mentioned that Abe was getting married – that is unless somebody kidnapped the bride before the wedding. Johnny called a tarot card to try easing the tension before Ciara decided they’d better go.
Ciara dropped her book, so Theo went to pick it up for her and saw that it was all about the ABCs of having a baby. He was surprised as he realized Ben and Ciara were expecting a child.
Back at the townhouse, Marlena said Susan the cat was her priority and suggested going for a ride. On the way out, Marlena ran into Shawn and Belle while holding Susan.
Marlena claimed she found the cat wandering the hall and promised there was no need to worry about Susan anymore.
Marlena insisted she needed to get to the animal shelter, so Belle seemed concerned about them putting the cat down.
After Marlena dashed off with the cat anyway, Belle and Shawn wondered what that was about.
