In tonight’s FBI episode, a man broke into a daycare to kidnap a child. The child he grabbed was a little girl and there’s no telling why he took or what he would do to her. He just told the daycare owner not to call the cops. He said that if he heard any movement in the next thirty minutes that she would regret it. The woman was so scared that she didn’t move until a second daycare worker came in and said it was all clear.

But the kidnapper had gotten away with the child. He kidnapped Lucia Diaz. She was five years old. Her mother was a nanny and her father worked in construction. They weren’t wealthy. They couldn’t a ransom or so either kidnapper took the child for another reason or he was obsessed with the little girl. The FBI was brought in to investigate because it was kidnapping. They traced any known felons in the area. They found Tito.

Tito tried to run when the feds went knocking on his door. But they eventually caught him and they questioned both him and his girlfriend. They didn’t say anything at first, but a little pressure, and Tito admitted he has an alibi. He was having breakfast at a diner nearby. The FBI looked into this alibi and they were able to verify it. He didn’t kidnap Lucia. Lucia’s parents on the other hand have been suspicious. Lucia’s mother Jenny said she couldn’t get into contact with her husband because he was working and his bosses make him lock up his cell phone during the job. She also said some other misleading things. The FBI went back to her to ask more questions and they found out she did a runner.

Jenny escaped through a window. They checked out her apartment and there was no sign of a struggle. She left willing. She also texted a former employer and so they went to this woman’s house, but they found out her tied up and it seems Jenny contacted her former employer in order to steal from her and she emptied out the woman’s safe. The FBI came to believe that Jenny stole the money to pay the ransom. They just didn’t know how she was contacted or where she or her husband were. He wasn’t at the construction site. The FBI went looking for the couple and they later found Jenny. She didn’t have the hundred grand she stole. She also refused to talk until the FBI promised they wouldn’t throw her or her husband in jail for past crimes.

Only then did Jenny talk. Jenny admitted that her husband was a drug dealer on the side. She told him to stop all of that when she got pregnant and she believed he did stop. But he started up again without her knowing. She found drugs hidden in the apartment and she got so upset by this that she flushed down the toilet. Hugo later told her that the drugs weren’t fully his. He hadn’t paid for it.

She also flushed down eighty grand worth of drugs and so the drug dealer kidnapped Lucia just to get his money back. Hugo was supposed to make the drop. The FBI found Hugo strung out on drugs. He said he was so nervous that he had to take something to take the edge off and unfortunately he took too much. And he would have overdosed if it hadn’t been for Tiffany and Scola.

They had to give him some Narcan. They also called for an ambulance and soon he was back on his feet. Hugo still had to make the drop, though. Hugo said Moreno would kill his daughter if he saw anyone else show up and so he does have to make the drop. Hugo tried to score more drugs. The FBI wouldn’t let him and his wife was more concerned about their daughter.

Jenny said Hugo has a problem. He’s a drug addict and that’s why he couldn’t walk away from the life. Jenny excuses his addiction by saying her husband is wired differently. This got to Maggie because her sister is an addict and recently her sister was kicked out of rehab for sneaking out to drink. Her sister was barely back when she was bringing men over with her sister at work.

Maggie had actually gotten a phone call from her doorman saying her sister overdosed. This happened during the drop and so Maggie dropped the ball. She failed to notice that Hugo was picking a fight with Moreno. He got so upset that he didn’t see his daughter that he got into a fight with the man and forced Moreno into shooting him. Moreno then ran off with whatever he could get from the bag and he ran right past Maggie. She didn’t notice until it was too late. Moreno got away. He shot a cop while he was getting away and he dropped his cell phone in the chaos. It turns out the phone was connected to Tito. Tito wasn’t just in the neighborhood like he said. He was the lookout. He said that when a guy likes Moreno asks – there’s no getting out of it.

Tito gave up Moreno’s stash house to protect himself. The FBI raided the place and they arrested Moreno as well as rescued Lucia. But Maggie wasn’t there for it. Maggie went to the hospital to be with her sister and she learned that her sister overdosed on fentanyl. Maggie would have been fired if the cop had died on her watch. The only person to die was Hugo. He died and Jenny was going to prison for kidnapping a woman and stealing over a hundred grand in jewels. And so Maggie told her sister that she wants out.

Maggie doesn’t want to be Erin’s life as long as she’s using and so she was no longer going to be her sister’s fallback.

THE END!
