General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, April 16, tease that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will be feeling the afterglow following their surprise hookup at the garage. There’ll be some awkwardness, but Sasha will admit there’s something she wanted to say about last night.
Sasha will probably suggest she has no regrets and would like for it to happen again sometime. It’s clear that Brando and Sasha are feeling the heat, so they may agree to see where things might lead between them.
Over with Laura Collins (Genie Francis), she’ll bump into Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and learn some troubling information. Laura will wonder what exactly Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) promised Martin, so this should lead to Laura realizing her son went on a fishing expedition and used Martin as his pawn.
Nikolas did his best to butter Martin up and acted like he could put in a good word for him with Laura. Although Laura will indeed be open to spending more time with Martin and bonding, she won’t be pleased over how Nikolas used him.
Laura will realize this is all about finding Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) and may worry about what Martin wound up spilling during that conversation. Nikolas was able to track down the bakery near Florence where hummingbird cake is the specialty.
It looks like that clue led to finding the address of the safe house, but Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will want Nikolas to abort this mission.
Although Ava will understand how much Nikolas wants to protect Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), she just won’t think stealing Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) mom back is the way to do it. Nikolas will stick to his plan anyway, so Laura will pay Carly a visit and hope they can form a strategy to stop him.
Carly will insist they can’t keep waiting around, so they’ll soon head to the safe house and try to make sure Nikolas’ plan fails. General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas will wind up stuck in a Florence battle with Laura and Carly, so keep watching to see who emerges victorious.
At Pentonville, Alexis will have a run-in with another inmate that spells trouble. When Alexis asks if she can help this inmate, it’ll lead to Alexis getting attacked and put in a chokehold against a wall.
It seems Maggie (Sydney Walsh), who’s currently Alexis’ cellmate, will step up to help and prevent serious damage from being done.
Later, General Hospital spoilers say Alexis will confide in Maggie, so they’ll form a nice bond that’ll help Alexis as she adjusts to life in the slammer. As for Cyrus, he’ll encounter someone and do some taunting. “Who knows? Maybe there’s hope for you and me!” Cyrus exclaims in Friday’s GH preview video.
We know Cyrus will push Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) buttons on Monday, so maybe Friday will bring their initial interaction. Then again, Cyrus has plenty of enemies to goad, so there’s no limit to who he might torment with his presence!
At The Tan-O, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will battle guilt and perhaps think back on her conversation with Elijah Crowe (Dan White). Elijah pointed out that once Nina’s story was published, it could lead to someone figuring out who “Mike” really is.
Nina may determine that she’s only delaying the inevitable here, so that could be why she has a heartfelt conversation with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) on Friday. “What if you could get yourself back?” Nina asks in Friday’s GH preview clip.
Nina will get emotional as she hints at Sonny’s chance to reclaim his identity, but he may argue that he’s liking his new life more every day. That includes Nina and all the time they’ve been spending together, so the truth about Sonny will stay buried for now.
