General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) may end up falling for an older physical therapist, so perhaps a hot new match could complicate the start of college life. GH fans know Joss was cleared to start PCU volleyball training since her ankle’s healed up enough for it.
However, Joss repeatedly mentioned that she still needed physical therapy and later got a PT referral. There was a real focus on it, so a complex new love story may be in the works.
Viewers may recall that Josslyn was crushing on her now deceased teacher, Dustin Philips (Mark Lawson), once upon a time. We saw the potential for an inappropriate relationship, but the show chose not to go there.
Of course, things are a little different now that Josslyn is 18 and on the verge of heading to college. Maybe General Hospital will revisit a similar story except with Joss as an adult who can make her own choices.
This could still be a bit creepy depending on how old Josslyn’s physical therapist actually is, but it could also bring some interesting drama.
It’s easy to imagine Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) giving Joss some pushback if she dates some older guy she gets to know through PT.
The same goes for Spencer Cassadine once he returns to town in the form of a recast – and Spencer is indeed coming back to Port Charles. Naturally, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) would also disapprove of some older PT hunk for Joss.
They would much rather see Josslyn fall for someone her own age at PCU.
Nevertheless, Josslyn could find herself smitten with some caring new hospital hottie instead. She might decide to follow her heart and ignore all the naysayers, but that could get her into trouble eventually.
Regardless, Eden McCoy is rooting for a story like this based on a recent tweet. In response to a fan who chimed in on the hot PT guy possibility, McCoy replied with a fingers-crossed emoji.
McCoy would obviously like it if the show chose to go down that route with her character.
