General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, April 12 Recap – Britt’s Secret Home for Baby, Maxie Can’t Know – Peter’s Death Threat

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, April 12, reveals that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) had a difficult discussion about their future.

Curtis couldn’t get past the lack of trust between them – and he pointed out that he didn’t think Jordan really trusted him either.

It was decided that Curtis and Jordan would get a divorce, but Curtis requested one last dance in his new nightclub. At GH Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) found Marcus Taggert (Asante Jones) in an exam room since he needed a checkup for his old gunshot wound.

Portia defended Curtis’ reaction to seeing Taggert with his ex in his former home.

Taggert eventually admitted that he knew Portia cheated on him back when they were married – and he suspected it was with Curtis. Portia was taken aback, but Taggert suggested he only put the Curtis part together recently.

Taggert didn’t blame Portia since he didn’t give her what she needed in their marriage, so the exes shared a tender embrace.

Meanwhile, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) looked awfully ill as Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) took him back to his apartment. Chase was hot, clammy and pale, so Finn encouraged him to hydrate and get in touch if he got worse.

Once Chase was alone, he got sweatier and weaker. Chase also had a dream that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was there to admit she wanted to move in. Willow was hopeful that they could pick up where they left off, which was exactly what Chase wanted to hear.

Chase woke up startled and ultimately called the PCPD to say he’d have to take a sick day in the morning. Once Chase settled back on the couch, he pulled the covers closer – seemingly battling chills to go with his fever.

General Hospital spoilers say Chase was poisoned thanks to the recent mug mayhem, so GH fans will want to stay tuned!

At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) admitted he split from Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and tried to confess his feelings for Willow. It was Willow who stopped Michael since she wanted to get this out while she had the nerve.

Willow confessed that everything changed after she slept with Michael in the nursery that day. She didn’t want to let go of what they had and assured Michael that she wanted to be together.

Michael was willing to take things slow, but they established that neither of them wanted that.

Soon after, Michael and Willow made love on the mattress that Willow had recently ordered, which was still in the living room. At Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) house, she tased Peter August (Wes Ramsey) so that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) could restrain him.

Peter kept trying to appeal to Anna as family, but Anna saw right through Peter and his manipulative ways. Anna felt like Peter was confusing his love for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) with obsession and refused to let Peter do any more damage.

Valentin dragged Peter down into the basement while Anna got a visit from Finn upstairs. Finn was there to pick up Violet Finn’s (Jophielle Love) favorite stuffed pig.

The visit led to Finn confessing that Chase was his son – and that Peter had blasted it all over the news through an article.

Finn also found Valentin’s wallet on the floor, but Anna lied that he wasn’t there. She did admit to working on a plot against Peter with Valentin, but Finn assumed Anna couldn’t get into the details.

While Valentin had Peter held captive in the basement, Peter called Valentin out for being hypocritical. Peter felt like Valentin had always been obsessed with Anna and would now have a chance with her thanks to him.

Anna ultimately joined them and found out some disturbing updates regarding the fate of a loved one. Peter came out with a death threat bombshell – if Anna didn’t let him go, someone she cared about would die.

At GH, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) shut down Maxie’s idea to send her baby to live with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) once she was born.

Britt rejected the idea of sending Baby Lou to live with Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) next. These options were too obvious and would lead to Peter finding his daughter.

Britt realized she would have to find somewhere for the baby – a home with a parent who understood this wasn’t an adoption and would return Baby Lou when the time came.

Britt added that Maxie couldn’t know the details or else it’d put her in danger with Peter. Maxie noted that Britt could be killed over what she knew, but Britt insisted the secret would die with her then!

General Hospital spoilers say some exciting developments are on the way as this faked baby death gets closer. CDL will have other sizzling General Hospital spoilers, news and updates for you, so make us your top GH source.
