General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, November 15 Recap – Marshall Makes Curtis Cry – Victor Double-Crosses Scott

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, November 15, reveals that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) cried after Marshall Thomas Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) father revelation. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) also double-crossed Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), so here’s how all Monday’s drama played out.

At The Savoy, the mystery man insisted he was the man Curtis had been searching for his whole life. That made no sense to Curtis, who gave the man about 10 seconds to clarify things before he threw him out.

The mystery man danced around the truth until he ultimately revealed he was Curtis’ father, Marshall Thomas Ashford.

Curtis immediately accused Marshall of lying since his father died of a heart attack when he was just a little boy.

However, Marshall urged Curtis to look in his eyes and recognize him.

When he remembered giving Curtis a toy lawnmower for his third birthday, that let Curtis know Marshall’s story was legit.

Marshall wanted to explain, but Curtis felt there was no justification for making his family believe he was dead.

After Marshall insisted it wasn’t safe before, he argued that Curtis needed him now.

Curtis disagreed and yelled for Marshall to get out, so Marshall agreed to go for now. He left behind an old family photo, which brought tears to Curtis’ eyes.

At Kelly’s, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) joined relentless Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) at a table and offered a bogus story about second-guessing her agreement with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) before the birth.

Brook Lynn acted like going off on her own to give birth was about making a statement and taking back some control.

Chase thought that made sense, but he also felt the story was almost too good. He didn’t know how all this fit with what happened to Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) baby yet, but he remained curious despite Brook Lynn acting like his detective skills were just rusty.

At GH, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) complained to Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) about Brook Lynn treating her like dirt.

After Gladys said she was going home to a pile of paperwork, Sasha invited her to the new art exhibit’s opening – and Brando backed her up.

Once Gladys was at the event later, she spotted “Paulie” working as a cater waiter and overheard that his name was Kip (Artie O’Daly).

While Gladys was in the process of confronting Kip, another cater water rushed over to share the news of a role Kip had just scored.

Gladys then realized Kip was an actor, so Kip looked nervous.

Back at the hospital, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was dressed and out of bed when he phoned Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) to reassure her about being home soon.

Valentin had Charlotte put “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) on the phone and spoke some French before turning his attention to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

After speaking with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Valentin feared they wouldn’t be able to stop the WSB’s deal with the devil – meaning Victor Cassadine.

Anna declared that she had an idea, so Valentin went into the room of a guard that had held him captive on Cassadine Island.

Valentin threatened to inject the guard with a syringe full of air, which would create a bubble that’d travel to his heart or brain and kill him.

Anna eventually joined Valentin as the guard tried to negotiate six figures and a new identity in exchange for information.

Anna ultimately swiped the syringe and jabbed the guard herself, so he demanded a doctor and revealed that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was on Cassadine Island.

When the guard begged to get the air bubble out, Anna wondered what air bubble and acted like the whole encounter never happened.

At the gallery, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) took a call from the hospital and ordered no visitors for that guard since he needed to rest.

Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) seemed concerned by eavesdropping Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) interest in the patient from Crete, but he downplayed it and tried to change the subject.

When Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) came in with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), she acted like maybe they shouldn’t go talk to Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).

Esme acted like Trina would probably rather be alone with Cameron Webber (William Lipton).

Spencer and Esme wound up approaching Trina and Cameron anyway, which lead to more insinuations that they were more than friendly.

When Cam insisted that they were “friends first, last and always,” Esme suggested that Cam was protesting too much. She kept pestering Spencer about the sparks that were lingering between Cameron and Trina.

Portia eventually met Esme, so she realized Spencer’s girlfriend must be the angel on his shoulder or something else altogether.

Esme insisted she was just the girl “Spence” loves, but Portia privately warned Trina to steer clear of that one. Trina assured Portia that she was trying.

Back with Ava, she kept worrying about Nikolas’s connection to Victor. Nikolas insisted that his uncle had no hold over him and felt like Ava should just enjoy her big night.

At the PCPD, Scott found Victor in lockup and caused some bickering.

Victor wasn’t receptive to Scott’s help at first, but they established that they had caring for Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) in common – though Scott didn’t want Victor to confuse obsession with love.

Scott wanted information that could lead to Obrecht and vowed to get Victor released in exchange.

When Robert arrived, Victor insisted that Scott was his attorney. Scott suggested he could hold a press conference to highlight how the Peter case had been botched.

Victor also knew plenty of dirty secrets that could tarnish the WSB’s reputation. He reiterated that his release is what would help bring Peter down – and soon after, Robert reconvened with Anna and Valentin at the hospital.

They assured Robert that they could find Peter on their own, but Robert made it clear this was bigger than Peter.

Valentin assumed Victor knew where all the bodies were buried, so the WSB didn’t want him to talk.

Back in lockup, Scott said that all the paperwork had been signed, sealed and delivered. He entered Victor’s cell when the guard opened it and demanded to know where Liesl was.

The guard nodded at Victor before letting him pass and locking Scott behind bars. Victor stripped his blue jail garb off while Scott shouted that they had a deal!
